Wood made some good tackles. I wonder if Edjenguele actually aims his headers or passes. MR persists too much with some players - I think some are starting to get complacent.

Last couple of games he's been OK, but hasn't performed that well (compared to the previous performances) since Stevenage away in the League. Moussa hasn't really performed as well as we know he can since MK Dons, bar PNE away. Time to shuffle the pack a bit I think, CT to come in at CM...

He didn't do particularly well in 4-4-2. I think Clarke probably should be dropped, but not convinced Elliott is the man to score goals, I'm not holding my breathe anyway. MR is becoming predictable with his subs lately.

Naive performance, especially at 4-4-2, because we were trying to hoof it in or cross it into the box too much v 6"+ defenders who were comfortable in the air whereas we can't score headers. We have loads of set-pieces , but we are terrible at attacking them. Clarke and Fleck did good.

    Someone's gonna get a hiding!!

Who is keen on him? He scores goals and has become somewhat of a reliable goalscorer for us, all of his goals have been good finishes.

What formation should MR play today?

No 4-4-2ers here? They were so vocal before Tuesday.

Well it has since he's come. Who would you start? Elliott? In 8(7), he's got 4, to Clarke's 4 in 5(1), so for all he stick Leon gets, he's clearly a better goalscorer than Elliott. At the struggling Scunny, he got 11 in 14(1). I will mark your words.

    So much change

The Fleck part was for the Grendels and Stupots of the forum. I do think Barton should be on the bench, with Fleck starting, and Moussa LM, but my point is, for all those who 'rim' McSheff, he hasn't done much more than Barton and less than Fleck. What annoys me most with Sheff is that he...

    Someone's gonna get a hiding!!

Leon Clarke is the league's top goalscorer, so I don't know why anyone would drop him for Elliott, who's goal:game ratio is poor, or Philliskirk, who hasn't scored yet in his whole career.

    So much change

McSheffrey has got 1 in 23, yet, people get a hard on over him... McSheffrey has got 6 points (5 assists, 1 goal), everybody goes on like he's literally Thierry Henry, but if Fleck (8 points) and Barton (4) are poor, both in 1 and 4 less appearances respectively, wouldn't that make McSheffrey...

    So much change

Barton hasn't been poor, he's scored 3 v good goals and had a good assist. I'd say in-form players have kept him out, so the jury's our for him, the rest I agree. Although Fleck is still our top assister, for all the stick he gets.

What formation should MR play today?

    4-5-1 for me.

    4-4-2 advocates

We lost 3-0... To Crewe, only games we've lost by 3 goal margins in the league is playing 4-4-2 and to put it into context, Spurs beat us 3-0... I'm making a point of this because many fans were crying out loud 4-4-2 claiming we 'need 2 upfront' and Tuesday proved how wrong they were. With...
