John Hendrix - always thought we let him go to early. Went on to have a good career.

I loved watching him too. Scored some fantastic goals for us over the years my personal favourite being at Leeds. Phil Babb had a shot that hit the post and it came out to Nuddy who lashed it home - looked straightforward but it was a really difficult technique to master.

Agreed and I was there too that evening. When their player got sent off the game changed and Dion and Nuddy saw us through.

I liked him too although I thought he was a poor man’s McAllister. One of Big Ron’s first signings iirc. Got sent off at West Brom in the Cup replay much to the Albion’s fans pleasure, him being an ex Wolves man.

Hopefully that will shut up some of his critics, at least for a few minutes anyway.
