I was responding about our record over the years not recently and looking at BSSB’s post I wasn’t wrong

I thought we had a good record at home against them but not away iirc

    Homegrown Strikers

John Hendrix - always thought we let him go to early. Went on to have a good career.

    Memories

I loved watching him too. Scored some fantastic goals for us over the years my personal favourite being at Leeds. Phil Babb had a shot that hit the post and it came out to Nuddy who lashed it home - looked straightforward but it was a really difficult technique to master.

94 - that was a seriously weak midfield and attack......

Biamou still has lots to offer

I think I was at that Highbury match, did we win 1-0 and he scored with a towering header?

Biamou still has lots to offer

You clearly haven’t seen too many then. I give you John Gayle, Grahame Withey, Paul Culpin, Alan Brazil to start. If I put my mind to it there are many more eng. Dave Bamber just popped into my head

Agreed and I was there too that evening. When their player got sent off the game changed and Dion and Nuddy saw us through.

I liked him too although I thought he was a poor man’s McAllister. One of Big Ron’s first signings iirc. Got sent off at West Brom in the Cup replay much to the Albion’s fans pleasure, him being an ex Wolves man.

    Forgotten Trialists and Signings

He was hopeless - sold Juke and got him in return. 🙁

Couldn’t agree more. I hope he has lots of good people around him as he is going to need them. His health is far more important than football.

Favourite Ever Cov City Player ?

What a question! So many to choose from - Wallace, Gallagher, Ferguson, Yorath, Huckerby, Boateng, Danny Thomas, Gillespie, Keane and of course Dion. For me though my favourite ever player was Gary Thompson - just loved the way he stalked the opposition’s back four and the fact that he took no...

    Cov Vs Swindon

Had exactly that moment too. Swindon is 20 minute drive for me. Went last season and I thought it was a reasonably competitive game.
