Now they want Clarke as well!

they'll probably keep everyone today then in a couple of weeks they'll all disappear out on loan pending a transfer when the window opens in January!

wouldn't say that but even if the deal was watertight what's to stop SISU trying to break the deal as they did with the lease or keep running to the courts to try and get the deal changed. they might not win but it could end up being expensive and time consuming for the council. their actions in...

    Want away ticket advice?

not that I'm planning on buying anything from the club but they do seem to be going out of their way to make it as hard as possible for those that do.

That's true but if SISU want ownership of the stadium the first thing to do would be to put in a serious bid for it. The impression given at the moment (and of course we don't know what is happening out of view of the supporters) is that SISU want the stadium for next to nothing and will only...

Given their track record I'd want a bit more security than Tim and Joy saying 'don't worry, everything will be fine'.

    Nopm and transfers

depends what sort of transfer it is. if someone is clearly making a step up at a decent fee then that's business as usual to use one of Tims favorite phrases. Would not hold it against any player wanting to get out of this mess. however if we start letting the up and coming kids go for next to...

you'd be mad to even consider sponsoring CCFC at the moment. ROI on football sponsorship isn't the greatest at the best of times but at the moment you'd be more likely to lose customers than gain any!

    Sisu will sell

should is the key word there. seem to recall talk a few days back that they've already 'restructured'.

    the online store

the main ccfc.co.uk site is run by premiumtv who run all the sites. if you click on the shop you go off to a seperate site and that doesn't seem to be tied in to a league wide deal. don't see why a change of offices and / or BT issues would be a problem, surely the online store is on a server...

What do you expect the Council to do?

that never made sense to me. if a lease deal couldn't be signed legally then how did they manage to sign one at Sixfields? I think Appleton said you couldn't put it in the CVA but surely it could have been signed before the CVA?

    Nikki sinclair

She's now saying on Twitter that everyone is wrong. Apparently SISU never stopped paying rent!!! Not sure why SISU didn't bother to defend themselves in court when ACL took action over non payement if that is the case!

Cardoza was interview in the local Northampton paper and he said even NTFC wouldn't gain much in terms of catering etc from the deal as they have a similar deal with an outside company as is in place at the Ricoh with Compass. If NTFC aren't getting much I wouldn't say there's much chance...

    Football league response

I think the issue is that had the FL not made this mistake the players and share would be in the company that was in administration. Given that most people would have assumed prior to this that the FL would follow their own rules they would act on that basis.

Levy is a bit of a misleading term I think and she's making it sound like ACL want £4 from every ticket on top of the rent which is not quite true. Looks to me more like an offer to reduce the rent from £1.2m to £400K and then should the crowds increase significantly and the club get promotion...

    port vale away

If you buy them directly from Port Vale then you don't provide any funding to SISU as they don't get a %

    Another Take?

In theory you could let SISU have it and put conditions on the sale, such as CCFC not having to pay rent, never being able to be separated from ownership of CCFC but I think we're way past the point where anyone would trust SISU to honour any conditions and not drag everyone constantly into...

Maybe you should reply and let them know we don't have a club shop just a barrow in Tesco, they don't answer the phone and the website rarely works!

CCFC deny handing out free tickets

true, do we actually have any sponsors left for anything now?

Glad I don't live in SBT world

I agree, in fact I seem to recall a fair few people making that point at the time. It would be an interesting question to put to Fisher (not that you'd have much chance of getting a straight answer) if their 'bottom of the cycle' theory has now changed.
