This is quite encouraging. Found it in today's news on the BBC News website. Magic mushrooms 'reset' depressed brain

I already knew of Ed Kemper. Quite fascinated by serial killers and have watched programmes such as Born to kill? etc. I find it really interesting how the patterns of behaviour develop as these killers grow up and become the 'monsters' most people accept them to be.

Unless his car broke down on the way to the stadium of course.

Anyway, this thread was on Saturday 30th September, the day Eddie was on Danny Baker's show and Eddie was going to the game that day. Just checked and St. Mirren won 2-1. Jinx is over!!

Yeah, I know, I get that. There is humour in every episode, but just for me that first episode appeared to be a comedy with some dramatic bits and every episode since, drama with some comedic bits. It was just the tone. Holden still continues to be Holden, but I think the way it was directed in...

Maybe you should stop buying her bricks in a wall of stadium you cannot find.

Hmmm, firstly I have to say I do like it, but I didn't enjoy the first initial episode. I am now on episode 3, but found the first one a bit plodding and drawn out and also at times seemed to portray itself as a comedy, so I found that confusing. Now we have witty lines, but it has set the tone...

Well yep, people will say they have the flu when all they have is a cold. The word can be bandied about a little bit too loosely.

Yeah, agree. Just think it can be good just to talk, just to have someone there to listen. No-one has an instant answer or cure, but just talking can sometimes be therapeutic.

Yep, we see a broken leg or arm, or someone in a wheelchair and immediately see something is wrong. We can't however see into the inner soul or what is going on inside a complex mind of an individual. So much easier to dismiss a mental well-being condition.

I had a friend who bottled up depression for over 20 years. She was such a happy bunny (seemingly). Always happy. Always smiling, but she was putting on a front. Inside it was eating away at her. I only found out after 20 odd years and only found out because she got in touch and had been...

Yep, get that, but not everyone is 'some people' and there are some of us who DO understand and won't think you are just looking for sympathy. Some of us are happy to listen and do want to help.

I also think there is a build up and then it becomes like a pressure keg. Talking about it helps for sure. Sometimes I think it feels better to keep it within, because you don't want to burden anyone else with your problems, but letting off that little bit of pressure every once in a while and...
