    Whos who on here

Surely it doesn't matter who everyone is, its only their opinion that counts? It seems on here that if anyone does have a connection to sisu/acl/ccc/joe Elliott etc then their opinion is disregarded. I could be best mates with Ann Lucas, to some on here that would automatically mean they...

    Annoyance is Growing

So are you saying owning the ground isn't really necessary for the club?

    Annoyance is Growing

I do wonder if those who want sisu to own the ground (it will be sisu remember, not ccfc) are the same fans who were begging the council to build a stadium 10 years ago? The council should have told the club to do one back then, administration would have followed but the club would have owned...

Ok so those of you who dont mind it being outside the city, can you put a distance on it before it becomes a problem. 5 miles? 10 miles? 35 miles?

For anyone who thinks our natural level is division 3

About the same amount of years since the majority of fans were wearing flares and equally as relevant to this conversation.

    Want To Worry SISU

How many cities are there the size of Coventry without a team within the boundaries? The teams you quote play outside the town because they are small places and there is limited space for stadiums. How many clubs build a ground outside their city because of a disagreement with the local...

Maybe in the premiership, but certainly not in the championship. Right now we are far below our level.

    Want To Worry SISU

Brightons stadium comes under Brighton and Hove authority, where Leamington play comes under Warwick district (the same as the rest of the town), Grimsby also play in the same district as the rest of the town. Any of the surrounding boroughs are not Coventry.

We stayed there for 34 years because we deserved to. What ifs dont come into it.

There is a difference between being where you deserve to be and your natural level. Sheff Utd and Wolves also deserve to be in league 1, but I doubt anyone would say this is their level.

I was basing it on something that WUM sonofsnoz said in another post that for nearly 50 years we punched above our weight. Also less of the old fogies stuff, I'm not 30 yet but still remember the PL days!

Of course it is. Is Hen Lane not in Coventry, is Longford Rd not in Coventry?
