    SISU Going BUST !!!!!!!!!

if it was the case that SISU went bust what would the effect actually be as they don't own us. Would the fund just get passed on to another company to manage?

    Portsmouth- what on earth

given that they haven't recieved anything from the first time round you can imagine a few of them, particularly any that don't have any allegance to the club, saying no to another CVA and chancing what they would get back from liquidation.

    Portsmouth- what on earth

there's a meeting shortly to do with obtaining a new CVA. not sure on the mechanics of how you can make a CVA agreement when there's no owner to foot the bill. Couple of queries tho, it seems noone has yet had a payment from the last CVA which i think was 6p in the £. Do they still get that or...

    SISU's achievements in 5 years

For me the 2 biggest mistakes SISU have made are the way they seemed to make a U turn on the initial plan and their PR. Things did seem to be going in the right direction initially but my feeling is they were expecting crowds to increase and had budgeted on that. When that didn't happen it...

    Portsmouth- what on earth

don't think it's been mentioned on here but emergency loans are only for 28 days and that period is up for at least one of their loan players but guess what? The FL has decided not to enforce the rule and let them stay till the end of the season. it doesn't sound like the administrator has had...

finding cov fans in random places...

great stuff. I spotted someone in a Cov shirt at Raw in Miami getting their pic taken with the National Guard, don't think it was either of those chaps so that's at least 4 Cov fans that were out there.

Just been on BBC South Today.....

the local paper down here said there was only a danger of games not going ahead if it was rated a risk and required extra policiing although that does imply that Portsmouth aren't paying for regular matchday policing which did strike me as a little odd as I was sure all teams had to pay for...

Football Fans as Consumers - Could this lead to fans switching teams in the future?

I went to watch Cambridge Utd when I lived there but it wasn't anything like the same experiance. Only really went as everyone I knew down there went, plus they were so many divisions below us at the time it wasn't really supporting another team. I've also lived in London and now Portsmouth and...

Season Ticket question - re: lots of existing reserved seating

Are you allowed to move? You could buy one now and if a better seat comes up ask them to move you there.

rangers and Celtic in premier league?

would work with Celtic and Rangers but where would the other scottish teams fit in? without the big games against the glasgow sides will they see attendances drop? Would have thought they'd have to integrate the whole league. Maybe we should move back to regional divisions in the lower leagues.

    CWR Phone in

i can't believe they're keeping the surcharge with the amount of complaints they've had about it. just shows again that they couldn't care less what the fans think.

    Transfer embargo again

the travel bit isn't quite right. for some reason Pompey fly to every game, they had to take a coach to Barnsley as it was cheaper than flying. Do they not also have a problem that their income including parachute payments is already alloted to various people under the last CVA? Think they have...

LONGEST TRAVELLED CCFC FANS - examples ???

That's better than my idea, lets get on to SISU they like this kind of thing. We should move into Fratton Park when Pompey go bust! :p

LONGEST TRAVELLED CCFC FANS - examples ???

we should start our own Sky Blue Special! That's 5 of us for a start, think there's an Aqua Cabs driver down here who's a Cov fan as well as I parked next to him at the Ricoh once. I've often thought the club should make better use of their database of fans, they know where people are from so...

LONGEST TRAVELLED CCFC FANS - examples ???

I travel up from Portsmouth when I can, tend to make more away games than home games these days. As much as the cost (tho the ever rising price of petrol doesn't help!) it's that it takes so bloody long to get to Coventry from Portsmouth. Can only get away with it a handful of times a season.

    Financial fair play

wouldn't they have to allow players to be sacked? If you've got players on contract how can you reduce your wage bill if nobody wants to sign them? Sure we'd rather not have paid Freddys wages all season but don't seem to have any option to get rid of him.

    Portsmouth- what on earth

I believe in terms of FL rules 3 apperances on the bench, even if you don't come on, mean you're counted as a first team squad memeber. This is the reason Pompey have refused to put the kids on the bench as they don't want them counted. Be interesting to see if the FL put in any checks on...
