    Do you ever read the Financial news? Bankers and Hedge Funds, all care about nothing but themselves, certainly seems like Hoffman wasn't willing to put his own money into the "consortium". Maybe he was going to be in charge of diversity?

    Did you not notice Hoffman stories in the Telegraph virtually every day before the actual bid(though no actual substance behind his stories)? When his bluff was called, his bid, like his backers melted away like a wicked witch after a bucket of water has been poured over her.

    They do sell their top players every season though, just generally for a good sum. Pobably because their top players are/were better than our top players.
