Match Thread Coventry City - Port Vale Match Thread - Saturday 9th Sep

Even watching the replay I can't make my mind up as to what actually happened. Was it even a foul or was it a cynical take out of the player? looks accidental rather than deliberate. Two things surprised me were the way the player went down and the refs decision to go to the Lino who was further...

    Lee Burge

Lee burge could have pulled off the save that kept us ahead in the checkatrade trophy final and saved us at the death yesterday to keep us ahead. I have not always been his biggest fan BUT credit where it is due. Yes his kicking needs to be worked on but then again that could be said of every...

I was in corporate seats today and thought it was a yellow but I was other side of pitch. Then as the ref dallied and then went to the Lino (who was further away than I was) I thought he might book the attacker. Will be a nteresting to see it again. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Absolutely. Couple excellent saves, great handling and position. I don't even mind a few dodgy kicks tonight. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Incenti had a decent half. A few tackles, one moment of skill (followed by awful pass), and expecting too much from the headers. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Ref Banned for Life and game to be replayed after bad decision

No I don't like video tech...I think ref should be in charge alone for the 90mins but retrospective to look at reds and cheats. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Ref Banned for Life and game to be replayed after bad decision

Not fully from behind (more side), studs not raised, well timed and got the ball. Never a red. But so difficult for ref when player goes down like that. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Rubbish Coventry City managers.....

Slade: lack of ideas Thorn: wasn't a manager (and knew it) Dowie: talked the talk but couldn't walk the walk Boothroyd: I never want to watch football like that again. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

The liberal views of the judiciary, the BBC, and the civil service. All that has kept politicians pretty much in check since WW2. Thatcher's new right/neo liberal policies would have been implemented further if the establishment hadn't held her (and more importantly Keith Joseph) back. Sent...

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

It might not be a nightmare for all and I do not just mean Catholics. I suspect many are fed up with the 'liberal' views that have dominated for so long. I believe we might see a polarisation along the Corbyn Mogg lines. I'm not really happy with either. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

Even though I disagree fundamentally with JRM's views I do respect his right to hold them. Also, if I'm honest, I feel he is an honest and honourable politician (unlike odious chancer Boris) who, if he ever became Prime Minister, would do his utmost to govern according to his moral code. For...

    Strike:

To be honest i was rather sceptical when Tom Burke was cast as Strike...I thought he wasn't rugged enough or his face 'lived in' but he certainly proved me wrong. I liked him in Musketeers and thought his playing of Denisov in War and Peace was excellent. My wife is a big fan...not sure if it's...

    Strike:

Enjoyed it. Close to the book. Good and believable actors...great chemistry between them. Good pace...not afraid to follow Strike tramping the streets. Looking forward to the Silkworm and then hopefully Career of Evil (should have a Blue Oyster Cult soundtrack). Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
