    Clarke Carlise

Remember seeing him on Question Time and he was very articulate and spoke well on many subjects. My wife remarked at time that he was more thoughtful and concise in all his answers then any of the politicians on that panel. Glad he has been found and hope his mental health issues are treated...

    Steps removed. SISU and CCFC.

If our owners move OUR club out of its home city again i think that will be the death knell of ccfc. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

First Ever Cov Match You Saw ?

If I remember correctly a year or more ago there was a threat about Ronnie on here and a poster informed us about him because my in a home etc. I think there was a letter from a relative too. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    More links with CRFC

I'm with you oucho. All we can do is think about the interests of ccfc and clearly that is as many people through the turnstiles as possible. It doesn't matter about the ins and outs/rights and wrongs of sisu v Wasps or sisu v ccc or sisu v the world. Yes we would all love sisu gone and ccfc as...

Match Thread Cambridge United - Coventry City Match Thread - Saturday 16th Sep

Need to confine last year's dreadful game to history. I'm hoping for a victory but I think this one will be a draw...1-1. Both teams reduced to 10men and a real niggely game. At the end of the day Robbins will be happy with that. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

First Ever Cov Match You Saw ?

Agree it would be good idea. The most memorable part of my first few seasons was my dad parking in the Gulson road hospital (or the diy store a hundred yds closer also on Gulson road) and walking up to the ground. He carried the stool and held my hand all the way. As we first caught sight of the...

First Ever Cov Match You Saw ?

October 1965....seventh birthday... I think it was Portsmouth...can't remember score. Dad for that and following season carried up a small stool for me to stand on the kop (just to left of goal when looking towards pitch). Hooked ever since. Only regret is the Northampton year...we didn't go...

    Loan Watch

I thought turnbull going was a loss...how wrong can you get. As for Reid...great on his day and should rip this league apart but how reliable a performer is he...no real loss. Thomas...needed games so good for his to go on loan but Sod's law as soon as he goes we get a few striker injuries...

    Our defence

There's an awful long way to go but with a much improved, solid, more confident Burge; with a defence (perm any 4 from 6) that looks assured and capable of a run of conceding less than a goal a game we have every chance of grinding out results both home and away. Sent from my iPhone using...

It will seem strange this eve to depend on SW and others for home game updates. Mind you looking at forecast I may be grateful to not have to travel on the motorways. I don't care how many shits hit the post or shots we have as long as you report a win. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Event on at son's school. Therefore we won't make it over from Leicester in time. I'm looking for a clean sheet and Ponti to come off the bench and score. 2-0 city and better football than Saturday. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Frank de Boer sacked by Palace after 4 league games

I'm afraid this hurried and ill-judged decision reflects all that is wrong with professional football in England. Palace played ok yesterday as has already been mentioned. Seems at last the players are beginning to respond to the manager's demands...and then the sack. Sent from my iPhone...

Match Thread Coventry City - Port Vale Match Thread - Saturday 9th Sep

It's the structure of the game not the referees. They are honest and in the main do a very good job (ok some could be a little fitter). It's players who cheat and try and con the ref...simulation, kicks off ball, shirt pulling etc. Often impossible for ref to see or judge. Look on match of day...
