I really want a signing like this this summer. Someone who the first time you see them you go “yep, this guy is going to be good”.

Just makes me chuckle. Every year since we came up people have said “oh man, next year is going to be harder because X are down and Y are up and Z will sign decent players”. I don’t know if it’s any truer this year but it gives me hope regardless. Well be a better side next year, that I’m sure of.

Sheaf absolutely makes us tick on the ball. More than Hamer. Hamer makes things happen, Sheaf does everything he doesn’t. They were a great partnership TBH.

We need better, but I much prefer with Wright and Simms a player who tries those balls in behind. Same as people complaining about Sheafs passing accuracy, those two play far more forward balls than the other central mids so they’re going to get cut out more, but without them you’re just passing...
