    Isn't today the day?

Not sure what you're getting at here? No matter what the FFP rules are they have still lost £14.7m in 2012-13 and £8.6m the season before haven't they? Would seem to indicate that owning and operating your own stadium and getting all the associated revnues doesn't resolve all the financial issues.

    Pitch Invader at Arsenal

Based on this I assume it has already been through the courts and he has been found guilty and the club is only enforcing the punishment ordered by the court? Some strange comments on this thread, people going on about players being attacked and stabbed bears no relation to what happened...

    How long, accountability ?

Of course no fan demands that, and some may moan if it is done, but a responsible owner would do it. If we are to believe the losses SISU claim they have made then even if rent was free and match day costs were paid by ACL we still wouldn't have that £1.2m to spend on wages as we'd still be...

    How long, accountability ?

Well of course the club had 50% of the management company and 100% of matchday revenues and chose to sell it and never exercise the buy back clause. Why should the club now be handed a third back for free?

    How long, accountability ?

And our average that season was 21,301 so I don't think that small shortfall is the root of all our problems. Of course the break even amount depends on other expenditure and having a large squad of older players on relatively big wages was a huge contributing factor.

    How long, accountability ?

That's a different question, I'm not asking if we got the best deal from the council. Had things gone to plan and the council not been involved at all would we have still been making payments, instead of rent against borrowing, and if so would they be more or less than the rent.

    How long, accountability ?

Is the problem people had with the £1.2m a year rent was that it was rent rather than a mortgage? If we had built the ground ourselves surely some of the cost would have come from finance so even if we'd owned the ground we still would have been making payments wouldn't we?

    Isn't today the day?

It's a joke really, this is the easy part of the process! I thought they'd at least buy a bit of land (which they can sell on later without really losing anything), get some off the shelf plans and submitt for planning permission. That's all relatively easy to do even if you have no intention of...

    How long, accountability ?

While I would never claim BR and his cronies did a good job its very simple for me - the buck stops with SISU. This wasn't some local businessmen scrambling to save the club from going out of existence who didn't really have the money this was a hedge fund who through they could make money off...

    Isn't today the day?

Well to be accurate Labovich claimed he had been misquoted and actually said could be as early as 3 weeks however this was followed by the journalist who wrote the piece coming on here and tell us he didn't misquote Labovich and he had said a definate 3 weeks. Given Labovich's track record with...

    interesting?

Don't think they're just sports, think they aim for regeneration of the city as well. As well as Browns they've recently purchased another place in the city centre to be used as an arts centre / music venue.

    interesting?

Can't do any harm. When Joy seemed to get a bit more active I thought she might get rid of Fisher and place all the blame on him. Easy to do, just say that was his policy not SISUs, draw a line under everything etc etc. Think we've gone beyond that now though, ACL and CCC appear to have left the...

    ACL out protest

What is the arguement here? Is it that parking should be the same price for everything or is it that parking price should change according to demand? In most places it seems to change according to demand, the O2 and Wembley are terrible for this, the price goes up massively when there is a big...

    ACL out protest

I don't for a second believe that if SISU had a 'smoking gun' they would have kept it quiet. Just think about it, we're supposed to believe they have clear evidence that proves ACL / Higgs / CCC have been up to no good and would get the majority of supporters on their side but they have chosen...

    Discussion about Petition

The theory all seems to stem from reports that PK4 had a meeting with the council. To me that doesn't put the council in the frame for trying to force a change of ownership. If I was looking to buy CCFC and / or the Ricoh I would more than likley request a meeting with CCC and ACL but it would...

    interesting?

Doesn't appear to relate to the dispute, seems a regular business situation - couple of people leave and they get replaced. It can never hurt to have some new faces in place.

Man Utd at the Ricoh monday night

Given that the weather has been bad enough for their U21 games to be played where they usually are maybe they don't want to risk the extra wear on the KP pitch in case it causes issues down the line. Given the connection between their groundman and ACL and the fact the Ricoh is sat there with a...

Key players in Coventry City saga backing petition calling for parliamentary inquiry

You'd have months of arguments about who was independent! Unless it was done by a select committee as suggested in the petition who would carry it out? I guess you would call in forensic accountants to scrutinise the books on both sides and lawyers to check everything was legal. Then you'd need...

Maybe he thought we played at the Ricoh and went back when someone told him he had to play at Sixfields! Being serious hope everythings OK but it does again expose the problem with having such a small squad. Hopefully he either comes back or Elvis can get someone lined up for when the emergency...
