    CCFC to be fined?

I assume this is rubbish but I wonder if NTFC / CCFC had to give some assurances of the pitch being able to cope with 2 teams playing on it? Obviously you can't legislate for the weather but an argument can be made if games at Sixfields are being called off while other teams in and around the...

The Ricoh -- Watch not support a Phoenix team.

As the Ricoh pitch is being maintained anyway the cost of putting on games with a low attendance can't be much can it? You would need to see how it compares to owning your own non league ground. For all we know maintenance etc at Sphinx could work out at £1K a game and they could get the Ricoh...

Sorry but that's rubbish. The very simple, straightforward argument is we have a ground to play at in Coventry and have no need to play 35 miles away. if it was easy enough for fans of other teams to understand why is it so difficult for Cobblers fans to get behind? Seems like you're insulting...

Maybe not sold but if we have players at the end of their contracts or players who attract bids 'we can't refuse' and we don't have the budget to bring in new players that's going to be a problem isn't it?

    Quieter On Here?

Maybe have more moderators and take a bit more action if threads are derailed such removing the posts going off topic, temp bans for repeat offenders, merging multiple posts on the same subject? Might not work but if people can't 'get away with it' as easily they might think twice.

Which bit? Are you saying we are somehow exempt from FFP regulations (or whatever it is actually called in L1) and therefore massively decreased revenues won't have any impact?

    Match Off

I think that's part of the reason some people were so disappointed with the response from your fans when the move was proposed. We had seen supporters of other clubs come out very strongly against it and lobby their clubs against a groundshare. The general impression that came forward from...

Anyone going to the Stadium Meeting tonight?

That all depends on who they end up selecting. If they announce a team of 10 people who are seen to be in the 'pro-SISU' camp then it's only natural that people will be questioning how independent it is.

It also must have an impact on signing players. I know people will go wherever they are being paid but if you had an option of playing at an empty Sixfields or pretty much anywhere else you'd probably go elsewhere.

The flip side being with a small squad and a lot of games in a short space of time there will be little recovery time. Will mean there's a good chance we'll need to play players at less than 100% or bring in more kids. Can't see us getting through that many games so quickly without anyone...

Elvis and the players aren't going to come out and have a go at SISU and the whole situation but in my opinion they have made it very clear they don't agree with it and want to be at the Ricoh.

The Ricoh -- Watch not support a Phoenix team.

If I was nearer Cov I would but it's bad enough making a 6 hour round trip to see us play let alone a Phoenix team!

Anyone going to the Stadium Meeting tonight?

Will be interesting to see what reply you get to this, if any, and how truthful it appears to be. As much as I think the the committee is a waste of time and the new ground won't happen if the forum ends up being only those who are seen to be on the side of SISU it would be disappointing.

    What happened to Haskell?

A point you often miss is that not everyone believes that SISU owning the stadium will in anyway assist the club. Those who side more with SISU regularly state that the £1.2m a year rent, not gaining match day revenues and the club not owning the ground was crippling the club. There is no...

    What happened to Haskell?

Instead of house think more like a shop. Shop A has 15K customers a week spending £15 each and you have an offer to rent that for £150K a year. Shop B has 2K customers a week spending £10 each but they each buy a £3 pie that you get 50p profit from. Which shop would be better off with?

    Fisher & Waggot Deceive Seppala

This has always struck me as odd. He was constantly on there and was touted by the club as a big name in the tech world yet since leaving here there's been no trace of him online!

    An Arena 2000 Timeline

Would probably need OSB to explain exactly what happened but I think the jist of it is that barring promotion to the Prem SISU didn't have to pay the debts prior to the takeover (so no money was technically owed) yet the debt stayed on the books. Of course the other question is why at last...

Fixture pile-up. Eight games in March.

well if its Elvis that decided it's a good thing then we'll have to go with that but 8 games in 27 days seems a lot to me especially with our squad size. Players won't have much time to recover from little niggles. Would have made more sense to me to play it in Feb and either cancel or move...

    Pitch Invader at Arsenal

But where do you draw the line? If we're not going to accept sentences given by court for illegal activity shouldn't we apply that to everything? My point is people are saying he deserves the ban as it's illegal. So if it's an illegal act leave it to the courts to decide the punishment.

    Pitch Invader at Arsenal

If the argument is that he should be banned as its illegal doesn't it then follow that it should be left to the appropriate authorities, the courts, to deal with and decide on punishment? Where do you stop, it's illegal to smoke at most, if not all, grounds. Do with give everyone caught having a...
