No one has said Bidwell is better than MvE. I’d be more concerned with playing Eccles or Lats at RB than Dasilva at LB. and I disagree about midfield. None of those mentioned have shown they can boss a championship midfield yet.

Wright isn’t backup for Simms. He’s got his own spot. At RB yes they are, ditto in CM. I don’t think LB is an urgent position. Those areas need strengthening because we’ve got no depth. First team I’d say GK and CM are more of a priority. But no backup for Simms or MvE and no experience at the back are bigger concerns IMO.
