    Mark Labovitch, Really?

The thing is we'll never really know how well ACL do without CCFC if it actually happens! Think the Olympics is a bit of a red herring, it won't happen again and if I remember correctly we only got the games as Villa Park wasn't ready in time. The notion that, even with a roof, the use of the...

    Outcome of tomorrow

I'm going c as well, can't see anything being resolved tomorrow. There will probably only be a short amount of time allocated so if SISU put up any sort of defence they will need to schedule a full hearing.

will admin be decided one way or another on friday??

Think part of it will depend on how much time the court have allocated. If it's only enough time for a quick yes or no and SISU come in with a defence that needs examination they will most likley schedule a new date with a longer hearing. Believe they shut down over Easter so could be waiting a...

American property tycoon will move to buy Coventry if club slides into administration

What happens if, for example, he decided to purchase a car parking space from CCFC for £1m a game or sponsor the team for £100m? I'm sure there will be a loophole somewhere and as soon as it's found the whole thing becomes pointless.

Sky Blues Trust Q&A with ACL & CCFC

To me it just shows how childish the whole thing is. ACL don't seem to be able to give a straight answer without having a dig at SISU.

Why do our potential investors need to wait for admin to buy the Arena?

That's how I've always seen it but I've always assumed I've missed something as people bang on about tax payers money etc when it looks to me like the council put in £10m then had ACL give them £21m for the lease, a pretty good return on investment! There has to be something we're missing...

So, now we have a prospective purchaser.

But didn't they already have a court order to get that money back and if CCFC go into admin they aren't going to get anywhere near what they are owed are they? If it comes down to the threat of liquidation I would think ACL are on very shaky ground as they were threatening liquidation long...

So, now we have a prospective purchaser.

where do things stand legally if ACL are essentially trying to force CCFC into admin to allow their preferred new owners in? I imagine it's just one of those things in business but could we end up with a huge legal wrangle if SISU don't want to go quietly?

American property tycoon will move to buy Coventry if club slides into administration

As soon as you hit the phrase 'property developer' huge alarm bells go off for me. People slate SISU saying they're only interested in the stadium, would a property developer have different interests? Would be very intested to hear what he has to say but it takes more than a name of a...

    Trust Members

Any chance that the people who are speaking on behalf of the Trust could be identified as such, how difficult would it be to change the bit that says JSB, Manager etc to show they were trust officials?

    Grass isn't always greener

I wouldn't be so sure about that, we always seem to manage to find a way.

    CWR phone in tonight.

Wasn't the Yorkshire loan to ACL so they could hand £40m (?) over to the council for the lease? ACL didn't pay any building costs did they?

If Sisu back down and things carry on as the are....

Southamptons stadium is another one in a pretty central location, they're planning to expand as well http://www.skyscrapercity.com/showpost.php?p=101121345&postcount=50

    Daft ?

You can be in administration for 12 months but you can then apply to the courts for an extension. The bigger issue is the practicallity of running a football club while in administration. You can only offer month to month contracts and you can't start 2 seasons in administation so, assuming we...

Who are the Sky Blue Trust

I don't really get why more people don't join, it's not expensive and if you don't like what they're doing you can join up and say so and maybe get things changed! Could something maybe be added to season ticket forms to give people an option to join the trust?

Found this on the Council Website

What happens if there's not enough money coming in to cover costs? To use 100% made up figures lets say outgoings are £1m a month but income is £0.5m (and I assume over the close season income is very low and presuambly we won't be selling season tickets anytime soon). SISU aren't going to cover...

    Ccfc film night

Has any serious consideration been given to this? Given the current situation we might not have a lot of other options!

    Football business experts

So the person who ACL want to bring in as administrator, making him a lot of money in the process, is suggesting adminstration is a good idea! We all know administration could lead to a new owner, but it could also lead to SISU retaining control or the club being liquidated.

    ACL Finace Director quits?

I'm not going to claim any inside knowledge or anything like that. Mate just text me as though it was fact so I wondered if anyone else had heard anything - said mate is now not replying to my texts asking where he heard that from. could be total bollocks / chinese whispers so I thought I'd see...

If Sisu back down and things carry on as the are....

what is there around the Butts? my understanding is there's only one stand there so if it's not totally land locked there would be potential there. think the council would be on very shaky ground to refuse planning permission just becasue they've got the hump with SISU. highly unlikley to happen...
