    Walsall categorically deny ground share

to me that says they are in negotiation. if they weren't the statement would say so and say they have no intention of ground sharing.

    Watch this space.....

would that not be an issue is SISU haul everyone into court for forcing them out? are we in the what is legal vs what is moral area again? could ACL legally say to appleton that if one party takes over forget the arrears and they can pay for example £400K rent but if the other party takes over...

Where do you see the club in...

we'll either go bust or be back at the Rioch. SISU may well move us out and make plans for a new stadium but I don't see them following through on that and actually building the place. There doesn't seem to be any way they're going to get their money back so why would they throw millions more...

    When will they listen?

think it's very hard to say how many people will show up. of course if we're going to be there for 3 years it's not really how many people turn up for the first match it's what they can sustain. that will partly depend on how we're doing. football fans are generally quite fickle and if we by...

    tim speaks.....bullshit as usual

that's the point really, we get Tim saying one thing then PWKH (what's happened to him BTW, not heard anything from him in a while) comes on here and says something different, neither side really give us any proof to back up what they're saying and I guess we won't find out unless it all has to...

Registering the club as a community assert

the council could also do it themselves by placing a restriction on what the land can be used for. it won't help our situation much as nobody is suggesting that the Rioch is knocked down and turned into houses or anything like that. It would never be needed while the council retains the freehold...

Walsall Talks Have Taken Place - Darryl Murphy

Darryl Murphy is normally pretty spot on with CCFC news, or at least he was while at Free Radio so you'd assume he's still using the same contacts, so it seems likely that it is Walsall that's the favourite location for next season. Wonder if they are also talking to other clubs in case Walsall...

    tim speaks.....bullshit as usual

I was having a conversation with someone yesterday (a saints fan, happy they didn't get stuck with SISU) and he did ask me was there any actual evidence that what SISU say is false and really there isn't a great deal. You get one side saying something one day and then the other side saying no...

CCFC will find out their Capital One Cup first round opponents on Monday 17th June

I would guess that the draw date is after the date the FL need assurances about where we will be playing - isn't there a league meeting sometime in June where you have to confirm you can play all your fixtures. Failing that it's a lot easier to remove us from the cup than the league, just give...

calling all ppl with a privare seat license (psl)

does a PSL give you access to all events at the Ricoh or just the footy? If it covers other events that could be their get out. rather than everyone paying out £140 wouldn't you be better off banding together and finding a CCFC supporting lawyer who will take it up for free / cheap?

calling all ppl with a privare seat license (psl)

bloody hell, surprised they sold that many, what was the point of them apart from you got a padded seat? I would imagine if we do move away those who paid for a brick are stuffed, not like they're going to take them all with them to someone else's ground. Would imagine ACL would take care of the...

Coventry City (Holdings) Ltd has no right to say where we will play.

business law is a complex thing and even if it ended up going the leagues way there's every chance SISU could drag things out over months if not years. the league will not want to go to court as it could cost them a fortune and you never can be sure what will happen. even if the league is...

Coventry City (Holdings) Ltd has no right to say where we will play.

My feeling is if, as you say, Holdings have nothing to do with anything then let Fisher get on with whatever he's doing, it's not going to matter one way or the other to us he's just going to make himself look even more stupid than usual. However if it turns out that somehow holdings is...

Gut feel - does anyone really think we won't start 2013/14 at the Ricoh?

Has any team every used 2 home grounds in the same season? I know sometimes teams have played a number of away games at the start of the season while building work is completed but could we play somewhere else and then come back to the Ricoh? Knowing our luck we'll play one game before SISU...

    Try this scenario

I have a question, would I be correct in thinking that ACL is setup as a regular profit making business? If so why was it not setup as a non profit, social enterprise or something similar for the good of the community? At the time the Ricoh was built social enterprises were very much the fashion...

    Fisher Arena - potential locations

So what was the outcome then? This is from 2004 something must have happened since then, even SISU can't stall things for that long surely!

    Try this scenario

very probable. the route that removes any option of SISU dragging the league into court is the easy option. FL don't have any issue going forward, Appleton can basically give up on the whole mess and just liquidate the company, only losers (other than us lot of course) are ACL. what happens...

Will the trust come out and actively oppose a move away from the Ricoh ?

why more, not like the Ricoh is packed every week. A smaller ground designed with a view to future expansion if and when required would be perfect. not sure why it would be a bodge up. temporary stadiums are pretty sophisticated these days. several of the olympic venues were temporary, noone...

Will the trust come out and actively oppose a move away from the Ricoh ?

In theory could you not buy the land ASAP and then use temporary stands like these http://www.arenagroup.com/index.php/products/seating/ whilst building one stand at a time? Sure you still need planning permission but with a sympathetic council just outside of Cov that may not take too long...

Will the trust come out and actively oppose a move away from the Ricoh ?

of course it's a stupid idea and as i said i oppose the plan to move outside of coventry but if it does end up happening (and does anyone really think that SISU are going to listen to what we say) I would not be happy with fans being targeted because they have decided to go to games.
