    Tonight's statement from the administrator.....

not sure it would, FL only has power over what happens in the FL. they could say they will treat holdings and ltd as one entity in terms of players contracts, golden share, points deductions etc but in a business sense legally they are 2 distinct companies. Would be surprised if after all this...

    Tonight's statement from the administrator.....

not sure the FL has the power to force a company into administration. they could say, as they did with Southampton, that they will be treated as 1 entity, not sure if that would help us tho as that would give Holdings a claim over the golden share.

Do the club have to provide free transport? I was sure I'd read that was a FL rule but I can't find any mention of it on their site so may well have totally imagined it.

SISU v Football League - in Court.

just because it would be an issue for FL rules doesn't mean it won't happen. Instead of something like this put it into an extreme situation, if the FL at their next meeting put in place a rule that bans all players from Germany do you think that would stand up when challenged in court just on...

SISU v Football League - in Court.

I have no doubt SISU have a figure at which they will quite happily walk away and with more than one interested party there is of course the possibility of a bidding war and that figure being reached. However if SISU are forced out I can't see them going quietly. Even if they can't get their...

Indicative bids only received so far

I guessed that but what I mean is could this present a problem down the line if SISU decide to drag everything through the courts. for example if ACL have an offer regarding the rent to these interested parties that is significantly better terms than those available to SISU could that present an...

SISU v Football League - in Court.

Why can't you see any Court ruling that Football League rules are wrong? If law clashes with FL rules the the law will take precedence. Just look at the Bosman ruling. You also have to allow for some weird ruling, you never quite know what a judge is going to come up with. Also factor in that...

Indicative bids only received so far

haven't heard the radio bit but what did he say? if they've approached ACL surely they're talking to the wrong person. If they've approached Appleton why do ACL know so much about it. I hope ACL don't do something that SISU could use down the line in court. Would be just our luck to get new...

    Tonight's statement from the administrator.....

My feeling is the FL have allowed this, possibly by mistake. If they hadn't I'm certain there would have been a statement and / or punishment from them by now, the longer they stay silent the more it seems to indicate there's something they don't want to own up to.

    Golden Share

aren't contracts and registrations different things? I'm not sure anymore, losing track! That would make sense tho, think about transfers. You sign a player to a contract then you have to register them before they can play. how would the league stand legally if they issued the share to, for...

Also is this the first time we've had it confirmed that the players contracts, the right to use the name Coventry City and the right to sell tickets (not sure how that works) are all with holdings?

    Golden Share

having got excited for 5 mins reading the CT article this is not really anything new is it? you can buy Ltd, who did own the share but you may not get ownership of the share and you won't get ownership of the other assets (player contracts etc) owned by Holdings. we're still in the position...

Les Reid has been pretty spot on so far and it seems an odd thing to make up as the administrator will just release a statement saying its not true so I'm thinking this is correct. How many of the 8 turn out to be serious bidders remains to be seen. Of course in a bidding war we could reach a...

    Golden Share

does overstated mean is was with Ltd but the FL may not return it there. I don't see how Ltd can have it now as you can't hold the share while in admin, it goes back to the FL Insofar as they are the major creditor and can reject any CVA. coming out of admin means a further points deduction...

    Sky blue trust

Could you elaborate on this a little? The administrators role is covered by law so are you saying he should disregard the legal requirements? My understanding is at present SISU in their many guises are by far the largest creditor and one of the administrators main roles is to get what is...
