    The Penalty

I don’t like it either but how many away teams have come with their shithousery and got something for it?

    The Penalty

He was the most successful at time wasting as he managed to look busy doing it. Those little throws to the CB who would catch the ball, put it down, then take the goal kick but giving it back to the keeper. Huddersfield were had loads of little bits of gamesmanship going on. All the about...

    Match Thread Huddersfield on saturday

As somebody else said he does everything at 100 mph and that means a lack of composure. Great player though just needs to mature a bit.

    Musk Buying Twitter

At first I couldn’t really see what his aim was, possibly a short term pump and dump scheme, but now I think he will use it to manipulate opinion and push his ambition and company share prices even further. Hasn’t he toyed with a presidential bid?

    Transfer Shouts

Watched a bit of their game last night and he looked very good. I’d imagine we’d be competing against most of the league in trying to get him though.

    Robins

I think people are too eager for him to make a sub when the reality is we often have a weak bench and it would be a huge risk when the stakes are high.

    This Summer

You’d think so to some extent at least. It depends how SISU are set up and what kind of returns they are promising I guess.

    This Summer

The thing is they are investors throwing some cash at the club and hoping for promotion is more like gambling.

    Joy

Let’s hope so. I saw that their squad supposedly cost even less than ours. They seem to have done well with free transfers so I’d be interested to see how their wage budget compares. For me next season could go either way and it all comes down to summer wheeling and dealing.

    Sheaf

We’re fortunate to have two CM with a great range of passing who are also adept at breaking up opposition attacks. That’s probably been vital to our success this season. It’s a shame many had their opinion of Sheaf clouded by the fact he gave the ball away sitting deep a few times last season...

    Player of the season

He’s vital to the quick countering attacking style that we’ve got better at throughout the season and was so effective against Fulham.

Rose going to a Premier League Club

Well exactly. His point made no sense on a few levels.

Rose going to a Premier League Club

I liked his suggestion that we sell O’hare for 10 mil then buy Swift, who has more goals and assists, for 5 mil.

Are we getting a name for ourselves off the pitch?

Because other sports are more family friendly and so draw on a bigger pool of support. Are we pretending that football and it’s fans still don’t have an image problem with the wider public just because it’s well attended compared to sports which have smaller followings?

Are we getting a name for ourselves off the pitch?

So what? Isn’t it also the most supported?

That’s true, he did lay it off for Dabo to cross.

It shows how far we are from having a decent championship squad. We just don’t have the finances.

Fantastic goal aside he has barely impacted the games when he’s come on and struggled to get on the ball.

Are we getting a name for ourselves off the pitch?

As a thought experiment, thinking of the rowdiness people are willing to accept in football stadiums, whatever it is that gives it the “edge”, is there any other place in society where you are willing to accept that, or is it just at the football?
