Torp had a bad first half but picked up in the second. It’s where most of our energy came from midfield. We keep losing the midfield battles and clearly miss the quality of Sheaf in the team.

I wonder if people would change their opinions now? This negative run against Top half teams (Norwich, PNE and WBA) may suggest that perhaps our midfield isn’t as good as people believe.

No. If that was the attitude last season we would’ve given up when COH got injured on Boxing Day and Palmer v Sunderland. Without Sakamoto, we’ve still got enough about us to make it.

The second goal was most impressive - 4-6 weeks ago he would’ve left that for Wright. He just took the shot on his weaker foot and buried it. We need to get him more involved in games, you can see his confidence rising.
