    Who Cares

Been going to games since 1986 and was a season ticket holder from 89 until I moved away for uni. When I did move away my Dad posted me the Pink every week and I'd go to as many games as I could afford. Being a supporter used to take up a lot of my time. The first thing I'd do every morning...

Boycott of Home Games v Lack of Squad Investment

I certainly think you can make the case to lay blame with SISU for the small squad size this year. At the start of the season we were told it was SP choice to have a small squad which some doubted was true but I can't imagine for a minute he was thinking it was OK to have so few forwards we'd be...

    Euro 2016 - England's group

They should have a pre qualifiers tournament for the lower teams and keep the number in qualification down. They could do it over the summer as those teams won't be in the world cup. Just makes the qualification process drawn out and uninteresting. When do the actual fixtures get announced...

What have SISU have done to Coventry City

That's all well and good but we were handed full match day revenues and 50% of a management company (operating a £113m complex as opposed to Swansea's £27m stadium). We then sold the that 50% on and didn't ever bother to buy that share back! We all know the rent was too high but we are told...

When did the seats get put in? I don't ever remember it being standing so I'm guessing it was before 1986.

I have a solution to the Ricoh problem

What are the dimensions of a speedway track, would it fit in the pitch area without having to move any seats or people being sat miles from the track? It's not a terrible idea really. ACL can't just sit around waiting for SISU to get their act together. If the speedway needs a new home and it's...

If CCFC doesn't return to Ricoh this summer...

How many season ticket holders do with have this year? If a chunck of them decide not to bother next year it could spiral. It looks bad enough now but imagine less than 1000 in the ground. There has to be a chance of that happened at some point next season.

What would be your breaking point? 3 years in Northampton, extension to 5, more than 5?

Luton are bringing thousands aren't they. Given what they've been through I'm sure we could get a lot of their fans to sign.

If CCFC doesn't return to Ricoh this summer...

Totally agree, 500 yards or 50 miles away I can't see a phoenix team working. For those that want local football there's Sphinx, if enough people got behind them they might even consider moving someone like the Butts in a few years time. The way Nuneaton are going they could be playing league...

If CCFC doesn't return to Ricoh this summer...

My opinion is that a phoenix team won't work in Coventry. There is a lot of apathy amount Coventry supporters, understandable with so many years without any sort of success. That's before you even consider the splits there would be between groups of fans and infighting. If we return to the...

Returns to the Ricoh or to the 'Coventry area'?

How low does it have to go ?

You would have to check the classification with the Inland Revenue, my accountant sorts mine out for me so no idea what he includes where - I just pay the bill. I can't imagine them coming after you for an undeclared ticket to Sixfields that only cost £9 in the first place if it had been paid...

If CCFC doesn't return to Ricoh this summer...

No doubt with every day that passes the number of people who still care goes down. Another season at Sixfields will be a significant point for some and it will be really interesting to see how ST sales are next season compared to this. Surely those who attend 'home' games in the belief the new...

If CCFC doesn't return to Ricoh this summer...

I wish someone in the local press would pick up on these things and make him justify his statements How would fans knowing where the stadium was going to be affect commercial decisions? It simply doesn't makes sense, every other club who announce anything about building a new stadium let...

How low does it have to go ?

It isn't in there as a taxable amount is it? That would be odd. Wouldn't it be something along the lines of x number of people attended over the course of the season generating x in ticket revenue? Otherwise you'd have to work backwards to an average ticket price per person in attendence which...

How low does it have to go ?

When they submit for tax they don't give number of people they give a revenue amount and get taxed on that.

    Level of disconnect

To me it's simple, for their to be a Phoenix club one of two things has to happen. Either the existing club ceases to exist or the FL announce the existing club are moving somewhere other than Coventry permanently. You can't have a phoenix club while we're still in existence, of course that...

thought it was better at sixfields

The council can offer the freehold with the existing lease in place and / or a 50% stake in ACL. I believe they have said they will listen to any serious offers for either. The unencumbered freehold is virtually impossible for them to offer, that would require ACL to negotiate cancellation of...
