    January transfer window

As mentioned, but think a young PL U23 winger on loan would be ideal. Really think we need this sort of option given the formation change.

    Shipley

Ridiculous comments by some on here. He's struggling at this level, but doesn't deserve dogs abuse for it, still goes out and does his best. Especially considering the contribution he's made to the club over the past 3 seasons. We don't have a tonne of quality at this level outside the...

Sheaf should come back in, missed him a lot against Derby in my opinion!

I’d want McCallum over Giles in this game specificalylfor his physicality, one of the strongest and best in the air in the team. He’ll be fine, young lad, quick recovery. I’d go to the back 3, bring Sheaf and Ostigard in. Shipley and Giles on the bench.

O’Hare was a tad frustrating today, but he’s best attacking player, in my view. Runs at defenders, commits them, can drop a shoulder. Dodgy finishing but aside from that I thought he did well. Shape was off today, defence kept going back to keeper because we couldn’t play through the lines...

They can't be half as bad as they're playing. The squad is v similar to last season where they were top half. Confidence will be low, so hopefully we can capitalise on that.

Reading had some nightmares with centre halves this past few years, got rid of Rob Dickie and Jake Cooper too.

Wilson - 9 - Never a pen, gets there before the player, double save unbelievable Ostigard - 7 - solid, did well against Placheta, won a lot in the air Fadz - 6 - Decent performance, couple of poor passes only reason I’d give him a 6 rather than a 7 Hyam - 7 - Solid again Dabo - 8 - back to the...

    Lee Camp

https://www.smallheathalliance.com/read.php?1,2948797 Mixed comments on the Bluenose forum, but some saying he was one of their best player post lockdown. Sense he'll be fine for us short-term. Seems to be decent with his feet, which will suit our style of play.

    Tyler Walker

Agreed I think he is, although Godden has a better first touch though, and I think makes more of his abilities. Expect this will be where Walker can make huge improvements though.

Will be a couple of years before he peaks at this level as well, will get better at holding the ball up and doing the dirty side of the game, for example. His finishing looks brilliant though

Too deflated to be arsed. Sheaf was brilliant again, O’Hare ran the show second half. McCallum, Ostigard and Giles also v good.

Marosi - 8 - much more confident, excellent performance Dabo - 7 - great to have him back and still so much more to come Rose - 7 - excellent defensively and when bringing the ball out of defence Ostigard - 8 - top player, strong and commanding Hyam - 7 - great again, shame he couldn’t do more...

    Would you have bright back?

Shipley will score goals though, nearly did against Boro. Have to agree with those saying Allen isn’t good enough, unfortunately he’s not. Physically miles off and not a good enough player to compensate.
