I know that. If you could read what I’ve actually posted and then reply to my points it would help

Come off it man, read everything else I put, and don’t be deliberately obtuse.

Different circumstances, when we signed King I don't think our squad was particularly harmonious or indeed successful. It was a bloated squad of established and under performing championship players, bar a small handful. Additionally I think you overrate NML if you're comparing him Marlon...

    Nathaniel Mendez-Laing

Unless he came in and was one of the best 5 players in the league, would anyone pay 7 figures for an average-good championship level 29 year old they could have got in the summer for free, and only has 12 months left on his deal? No chance. Not to mention some significant off the field...

    Nathaniel Mendez-Laing

I think that's debatable, but yeah certainly would likely be one of the first names on the team sheet. I meant more than he's obviously be sacked for a reason, and for a football club to write off a multi million pound asset, it strikes me that it's not something minor. I'm not suggesting he...

Probably not a good enough player to outweigh the likely negative aspects. As long as the crime isn't violent/abusive, and he's a decent lad, who has made a mistake, then deserves a second chance for sure.

    Sheaf

Agreed, it's just confirmation bias, have a certain pov and then look out for mistakes to justify it, rather than watching the whole performance

Walker anonymous, and we can say he didn’t get the service but he won nothing/couldn’t hold the ball up, or link play. Also not sure on the runs he’s making to stretch them, doesn’t seem to get near to anything or close to being played through, Hamer and O’Hare managed it and he didn’t.

    Sheaf

Needs consecutive games to be sharp, he wasn’t great in his first two games for us, then he put in three brilliant performances and arguably our best player in two of them. He’s never played at this level before and he’s playing a role where you can look stupid if caught in possession. Also...

Do one. They're kneeling for equality, and against racism. You guys have made it political, not the players.

Summer signings/loans - Ratings so far

Sheaf is a good player, but he wants to play in the position Kelly plays. Prior to Kelly coming back he was really good, albeit the whole side has improved with Kelly back in the team. He needs to have the game in front of him. I think he can do that role really well, and have faith he'll play...

    Match Thread Huddersfield

Would love to get back to back wins for the first time this season, but Huddersfield seem to be a pretty good side so another point would be decent

How long can we keep Hamer?

Why wouldn’t he get a PL move? He’s the best player on the pitch most games, and his technical ability and set piece delivery is absolute top level. He won’t go for £5m because we won’t sell him for that, you’re looking around £10m if he continues this kind of form through the entire season.

Thought we were really poor today, but still managed to get the win. Defence did well Kelly - wowza Hamer - incredible player and the effort where he tackled and then didn’t break stride, top level ability O’Hare - work rate and ability brilliant McCallum - had a bit of an off game, on the...

    Match Thread Wycombe

Extra days rest could be significant. They've had some decent form of late though, held Brentford and Watford at home, as well as picking up points away. Not providing any earth-shattering commentary here, but a loss would be disappointing, a point fine, and a win, excellent.

Will be a tough game, but if their results are anything to go on they’re nothing more than average, and our home record is great. I think we’ll draw, but every chance of 3 points

    Ben Wilson

He’s been great, although couple of worrying, relatively straightforward flaps today which could’ve ended badly on another day.
