Steven Pressley - Who do you think you are?

6 points from the next 2 games, which is very achievable, and we'll be back on for promotion with SP being the greatest manager we've ever had!

Wasps bid for Ricoh Arena valued at £30million

I know the CET polls aren't the most scientific things but have you all been hitting the wrong button? It's currently 86% in favour of Wasps moving to Cov.

    From a usually reliable source

That's all well and good Rob but when the people who ultimately make the decision on where we play keep saying we are not staying at the Ricoh and will leave in 4 years tops aren't they a major cause of the mess we're in now? I'm holding out hope that before it's too late we will see a clear...

Wasps bid for Ricoh Arena valued at £30million

If I was in there position I would have a simple statement up on the website, without any digs at any other party, and just state the club wishes to remain at the Ricoh permanently and will be submitting a bid for part and / or full ownership of ACL. Than actually submit a bid and a second...

Wasps bid for Ricoh Arena valued at £30million

So going off your post time was he on around 9:20? Will listen on catch up. Any mention of them coming up for the protest and what sort of numbers they might bring?

    Pressley charged with misconduct

It would be great if SP turns up to the hearing with loads of DVDs of Garner diving!

Wasps bid for Ricoh Arena valued at £30million

We don't even know for a fact Wasps would move there, it could be they see it as a good investment and will use it only for Euro games. We simply don't know. Similarly we don't know what, if any, deal would be offered to us if Wasps were to take ownership, for all we know we could get a much...

Wasps bid for Ricoh Arena valued at £30million

Wasps would be taking over ACL, apart from 10% the council would retain, so the current contract we have will still be valid. The issue comes at the end of that contract.I f, as Fisher keeps saying, we are building our own stadium then there will be no change to the current plan. If anything...

    Letter to Councillors

Going to try and put my letter in by proxy as I don't live locally. Have to rely on my Dad's ability of sending an email to the right person so it's 50/50 if it will reach the council at all!

Sisu trying to fuel a Bentley on Robin Reliant money

From the sounds of this a 90% stake in ACL could be purchased for significantly less than building a new stadium.

Wasps bid for Ricoh Arena valued at £30million

If you been speaking with the club / SISU I'm really hoping your statement will be informing us that they will also be submitting a bid. Hopefully a few hundred of them will turn up and protest on Tuesday, if a decent number of our fans show up with a few hundred from Wasps and a few hundred...

Wasps bid for Ricoh Arena valued at £30million

Wasn't it suggested at one point that the option to buy the Higgs share didn't technically disappear until the old co is liquidated which I don't think has happened yet has it? Suspect it is something that would end up in another court case which I'm sure CCC are keen to avoid.

Wasps bid for Ricoh Arena valued at £30million

On the bright side this gives SISU all the information they need to get their own offer on the table tomorrow!

SCG/ Garlick Stadium group to merge?

Wasn't there a bust up between the trust and non trust members on the SCG. Seem to recall something like that in the minutes of one of the meetings.

Council could vote on Ricoh takeover as early as Tuesday

There may have been a restricted use covenant, that's not uncommon for football grounds. Something along the lines of the land can only be used for football. That would have needed to be removed prior to any sale as the land would be practically worthless with it in place however I would think...

Council could vote on Ricoh takeover as early as Tuesday

They have always said they will consider any serious offer, never have I heard it said that excludes CCFC or for that matter SISU. They don't need to put a valuation on it for SISU to bid. The simple fact is despite all their bluster SISU have never tabled an offer to buy either the freehold or...

Council could vote on Ricoh takeover as early as Tuesday

What would happen if any sale involved paying off the loan? The court case could still proceed but as most people seem to think the most severe punishment would be loan repayment wouldn't it then be pretty pointless.

Council could vote on Ricoh takeover as early as Tuesday

So your main objective is to get SISU to leave. But you then say but and To sum up you want SISU to go, say if SISU owned the ground and the club they would sell both but they should pay as high a price as possible and under no circumstances should they be sold the ground. That all seems...

Council could vote on Ricoh takeover as early as Tuesday

And there is the key problem, SISU are still claiming we will be in a new stadium in 2-4 years and the current contract at the Ricoh reflects that. What happens when we get to the end of the 4 years and there is no new ground? The club may have had a bad deal historically with ACL but who knows...

Council could vote on Ricoh takeover as early as Tuesday

Not an obsession but I would say that, if we assume the Ricoh is performing to a decent level even without considering us playing here, that a) you would attract more buyers for a club and stadium package and b) I would hope / expect we would get a better deal buying from the council than buying...
