    How many clubs...

Why is it incredible? Football, including the FL, requires primacy, rugby doesn't. Seems like a non issue to me. Besides its not as if the primacy rule was enforced when we were at Sixfields, if it was we would have played on Saturdays and Northampton would have had to move their games.

    Fekin Les Reid !!!!

Why would ACL & CCC approach SISU when they are consistently saying, and have confirmed today via one of the people you are saying made the comment, that they are not interested in making an offer and are building their own ground? There is nothing now, or at any point previously, stopping SISU...

    Who would have Primacy?

Additionally I can't see anything that says Wasps would need primacy. Other clubs manage to share so I think that would be the least of our worries. We managed a season at Sixfields without primacy anyway so it wouldn't be anything new. Not like a lot of football is Saturday at 3pm as it would...

Les Reid: Ray Ranson & ex-CCFC people may be in on a club/Ricoh takeover plot

They are, hence the rock and hard place comment. But given that they're both roughly as bad as each other I would take an option that has us permanently at the Ricoh, possibly with ownership under the same group of companies over one that seemingly has no idea where we will be playing in a few...

Les Reid: Ray Ranson & ex-CCFC people may be in on a club/Ricoh takeover plot

So if Les Reid is correct we have a side to pick out of: 1) SISU - have no plans to even attempt purchase of the Ricoh. Insist new ground, outside Coventry, will be ready within 2-4 despite zero evidence anything has actually happened. Have run up the largest debts we have ever had, 2 points...

    Fekin Les Reid !!!!

That's not good news for Les, he's been endorsed by RFC :)

What the fuck is going on?

they are buying ACL so its for the current lease but it has been speculated that as part of the deal it will be extended.

    Protest Tuesday

I think if this is going to happen someone on the ground locally needs to get on the case and get all the details firmed up. To me it is absolutely essential to have a decent group of supporters from Cov RFC and Wasps there. I expect someone who lives locally could sort things with Cov RFC...

    Are we being played?

I can't really see much of a grey area with the golden share while SISU, or whatever name they are currently using, hold it. The FL aren't going to suddenly take it off them and hand it to someone else. The only scenario I could possibly see is at the end of the current contract the new Ricoh...

    Fekin Les Reid !!!!

I would have thought if you considered yourself to be the only one with the facts in what is a fairly big story a journalist should be able to find a more significant outlet than twitter. Wonder if the tweets are just a build up to a piece in the press tomorrow?

What the fuck is going on?

They will still own the freehold so, assuming a new longer lease is issued, they could put in a clause saying the lease can't change ownership without their permission.

Les Reid: Ray Ranson & ex-CCFC people may be in on a club/Ricoh takeover plot

I would guess either the Wasps owner is part of the consortium to buy us or some deal has been done for him to provide finance and in return Wasps get the Ricoh for Euro games.

Joy Seppala: “We will not interfere with any deal between Wasps and ACL re: Ricoh"

I certainly think we should all give our total support to Wasps and Cov RFC fans however Sepalla's statement means that we can't really protest on the grounds that SISU should be given chance to buy the stadium or it should be kept for the club. She has made it very clear SISU are not interested...

Joy Seppala: “We will not interfere with any deal between Wasps and ACL re: Ricoh"

It doesn't really matter what her argument is through does it? The very key point is SISU have no interest in purchasing the Ricoh yet have given no evidence to support the fact that they are building a new group so there's a very real prospect as a result of her actions we will end up not...

    From a usually reliable source

I can certainly see why CCC, ACL and anyone else involved would be happy to get shot of the Ricoh and all the associated hassle. Equally I do not agree with franchising and would not want to see another team, of any sport, moved her against their wishes so in many ways we're looking at two...

Les Reid: Ray Ranson & ex-CCFC people may be in on a club/Ricoh takeover plot

Oh good Les Reid is back, just what we need someone else added to the mix with their own agenda trying to stir things up.

Joy Seppala: “We will not interfere with any deal between Wasps and ACL re: Ricoh"

This is all very odd. I was hoping Rob was going to come back from his meeting with SISU and say they would be putting a bid in but this reads more like a SISU press release than one for a fans protest group. So basically SISU are going to stick to the line that they are building there own...
