Council and Sky Blues in court tomorrow

I think the idea is that the loan is secured against an asset (the lease) and should SISU default the council gain possession of an asset of greater value than the outstanding balance. They can either put the lease up for sale in the hope of achieving a sale price greater than the amount owed or...

Council and Sky Blues in court tomorrow

I had an argument with one of the councillors about that. Basically accused them of saying it was coming from central funds when it was actually paid out of their reserves and was told it was an administration thing. It had been decided that it was the most efficient way to carry out the...

Are they saying theres no record of anything connected with the loan or just one particular meeting? Has was the decision ultimately made, was a vote held? That would be recorded somewhere wouldn't it?

We need to know if its a meeting that should, according to council usual procedure / regulations, be minuted. If it isn't then it's a non issue, if it is then the council will need to explain why it hasn't been.

Why is that sort of thing coming up now, isn't that more for the JR itself?

Council and Sky Blues in court tomorrow

The key here will be should the meeting have been minuted. If it's something that shouldn't have been done but hasn't then CCC will need to come up with a pretty good explanation but if these type of meetings are never minuted then it's a non issue really.

You're a quicker typer than me! Whilst that makes Mutton look a touch stupid that can't be a legal problem can it?

Council and Sky Blues in court tomorrow

SISU are after documents relating to Mutton and Duggins. SISU say there were victim of a 'secret plan' Request for meeting minutes when ACL loan was approved shows no minutes were kept. Notes were taken by individual councillors.

Sounds like SISU want access to 2,500 documents which seems a lot.

For those not following Simon on twitter Seppala is there, 5 lawyers for CCFC, 3 for the council. Seppalas statement is 100 pages! CCFC want access to documents for 'context'. If they win today JR will likely be delayed.

There was another offer made December 2013 directly to Seppala.

Wasn't there a more recent offer which saw the remainder of the season just gone being 'free', think it was to offset any losses by terminating the Sixfields contract early. That was £150K the following 2 seasons by which time, if you believe SISU, we'd be moving into our new ground.

Roughly how much are the annual police costs?

Do all these quotes reference the same offer from ACL? If they don't that could explain the differences. If not then it would be handy if PWKH, if he's lurking around here, could explain the discrepancy or Simon could seek clarification from ACL.

Depend how variable it is. If it's a cost per head then the only way it would work would be using an expected average with a premium to be paid if that is exceeded. If its banded it might not be an issue, say 10-15K is all one rate then ACL could work off every game being the same cost.

Could even be the case that there's 2 police charges. One covering the stadium itself, and surrounding ACL land, and another for public areas away from the ground.
