    The future

This is what I've wanted to see for a long time. Explain their business plan and how that is going to benefit the club while enabling them to get a ROI which is after all their primary aim. If it's a new stadium show us how it all stacks up, if it's renting what deal do we need to be sustainable...

    Carl baker

If that's the case doesn't that point to a problem with SP, how many other players can't he get to perform to their full potential? Again that would lead me to question SP's role in this. He has changed the 'Coventry way' and now we're sitting in 18th, 2 points off the relegation places...

Has anyone got any updates from the SBT meeting tonight?

Would be interesting to know who approached who. Did Wasps see an empty stadium and see an opportunity or were CCC actively pursuing anyone they thought might be interested. Does make you wonder if any of this would have happened if we had been playing there last season.

Has anyone got any updates from the SBT meeting tonight?

MGI, at least from it's website, looks more like a financial services company than a hedge fund. Do they actually own a stake in Moonshine, and if so how much, or do they provide services to them? As you point out if MGI own Moonshine and Moonshine own Wasps then Richardson doesn't own anything.

Has anyone got any updates from the SBT meeting tonight?

I'd say it's just a happy side effect that we get a better pitch. Speaking of which someone told me rugby pitches have longer grass than football pitches, how is that going to work? Wouldn't want it to stop us playing the Coventry way!

In the same way Wimbledon "moved" to Milton Keynes?

Has anyone got any updates from the SBT meeting tonight?

I'm not sure how it can not be franchising. They could argue they had no other option but it's still moving a club miles away from it's home.

I think I'm going to be sick !

The figure for the first game isn't going to show us much, look how many turned up for Gillingham! The more telling figure will be next season. Presumably by then the freebies will have been massively scaled back and they'll have to try and sell season tickets to people travelling a long way...

    Strange Feeling

I presume he means Wasps put a ticketing system in place for the stadium and we use it instead of our current system which falls over fairly easily. Don't think that will happen as Wasps appear to be using Ticketmaster at the moment which we could sign up for easily enough if we wanted to. I...

Meet Wasps Tonight And Ask Your Questions

Not to single you out but I never understand posts like this. Why don't people who think this go along and ask a question?

Baker exit -football reasons or wages?

Chap I work with goes to MK, he's taken great delight telling me how well Baker has been playing. Text me at the end of the game yesterday saying he'd had a blinder and setup two goals.

    Walsall Match Thread

probably along the lines of need to give it more oomph. was working yesterday and had no internet and poor mobile so couldn't really keep up with the game too well, sounds like I didn't miss much.

Buy Walsall tickets online - print or collect tickets?

If it's too late to post them you have to collect them I think. I've never seen any option to print them at home.

    Delusion?

I think if SISU put in an application to build a stadium in the city it would be up to us to get behind them and put pressure on the council to give it the green light. The council may want to reject it out of spite but the more pressure on them to accept the better. If they did then reject it...

    Delusion?

Wouldn't an appeal take it out of the councils hands?

    Delusion?

Sorry but this is absolute rubbish. Look how many people were on the marches and how many people are at games. Seems to me pretty much everyone who said they would come back has. Remember not everyone goes to everygame so you have to allow for that in the total number. Our average since we've...

    Aptly named: Black Friday

I'm with you there, its like when the wife comes back from town telling me how much she's saved. You haven't saved anything you've been spending money! I could do with a new fridge but I'm not getting involved in that carnage for the sake of saving £50. Do keep an eye on Amazon in case any Blu...

Again 365 days revenue blah blah

If the rumours of them needing 25K a game are anywhere near accurate there has to be a fair chance they'll be going bankrupt anyway.
