    Scg meeting notes from Thursday

Haha only if it's marked private and confidential ;). Still amazes me how people shout conspiracy theory when it all pieces together well. It's a similar fishing expedition to the one by the council. As I said it pieces together.

    Meeting with EFL

Opinion and conjecture? So do you disagree that CCFC being tied to a long term deal will not assist with stadium sponsorship and bonds? Do you not think Wasps will want an increase in rent? No matter how big or small. Do you not agree if the club is being pushed into a corner, it will impact the...

    Why won't sisu sell?

So they bought CCFC because of the Ricoh? Yet upon takover showed no interest. Wasn't until they had invested a bit and realised PL was all but a fantasy, that they switched their attentions to the Ricoh. If their intention was the Ricoh from the start, why was there no rent strike, negotiations...

    Why won't sisu sell?

Think Greg Clarke clarified it quite well. They pass a test which is not about their aptitude at running a football club, it's more along the lines of are they criminals? Fraudsters? It's clear as day if the test was about being good at running a club, a lot of owners throughout the leagues...

    Meeting with EFL

We are talking about the same people who think signing a petition will force SISU to sell. That NOPM of club tickets and merchandise will hurt SISU when they have said they won't fund losses. That have no problem with the stadium built for us being owned by a London rugby club because it got one...

    Meeting with EFL

The Ricoh doesn't generate any other revenue than pie and pints then? That's why Wasps relocated 95 miles? Just for pie and pint money. I don't know why I engage in dialogue with you as you can't see anything other than SISU are bad guys.

    Meeting with EFL

JR2 isn't suing Wasps. Why can't people understand that either? It's reviewing the councils decision to sell to Wasps. Wasps won't be liable for compensation/damages if any wrongdoing is found. As you said Wasps came here with JR1 already started, if 'legal noise' bothered them that much they...

    Meeting with EFL

Do you mean like your 20-25 years contract being "Reported" I'd say about as much creedence as you accuse my post of then eh? Has your 10 year deal been reported then? Or are you just making something up to suit your argument...

    Meeting with EFL

No that happened when ACL was sold to Wasps. A, because it started the legal action which is apparently halting talks at the ricoh and B, because as a club we need access to revenue to grow and improve. Which will not happen now. Still got one over on SISU.

    Meeting with EFL

What you on about a 10 year deal for when there isn't one in place or on offer? Why are you trying to make me look stupid when it just shows yourself up. Your hypothetical situation is as far from the truth as possible. SISU are the owners of CCFC, not sure why people struggle with that. CCFC...

    Meeting with EFL

Was it not reported a 20-25 year deal was being discussed? Was it not reported CCFC wanted a rolling contract? Would that not intimate Wasps want a long deal and CCFC a short deal?
  12. S

    Meeting with EFL

Wasps will want a contract for more than 10 years. Helps with stadium sponsorship and bonds. They also reportedly want a deal without break clauses? Wasps will also want a substantial increase in rent. This is a PR ploy by a councillor* (surprise surprise) to push the club into a corner. It is...

    Only two people to blame

I'm a fan of winning games? We're in league one, we have to play league one football. If that means in some games we have to hoof and run, so be it. We want out of this league don't we? Or do we now only want out if it's playing possession football? Leicester didn't play possession football...

    Scg meeting notes from Thursday

It was sarcasm. Aimed at when Gilbert led CCFC fans on to promote his new book. Still I imagine he's a hero of yours.

    Only two people to blame

No one has said all over the pitch. Still, we'll find out come May where our tippy tappy football has got us.

    Only two people to blame

The same Leon Clarke who will happily walk out as soon as more money is offered. Glad we didn't sign him. Still, you would, he's a 'name' after all. You would think after so many years of seeing CCFC buying 'names' and the 'names' not doing much the fans would be adverse to them.
  17. S

    Only two people to blame

But you can't afford the BMW? It's not being offered, you have to pay the players. You have to give them as higher level to play at. I would rather sign players that suit the league, yes. Common sense isn't it? He had no chance of Wilson if a championship club came in, no. Also, you mentioned...

    Breakeven

There was never any inclination from the council to sell it until CCFC withdrew the rent which propped ACL up. The quote of 24m for F & B revenue when Gidney was in charge hardly points to a realistic sale price. Why? I imagine to put buyers off? A bit like SISU loading and charging the club...

If the Citroen made us more competitive in the games played so far, yes.
