To help the atmosphere at the Ricoh

They should just start with a blank stadium plan. Forget who sits where at the moment and come up with the best way forward. We saw this season people whinge and moan when they try and change things so they reverse the decision and we end up with banks of empty sits in the area people were...

    Rugby: Would you go?

More a theoretical question than suggesting it will happen. Point being boundaries get altered yet people are treating them as some sort of unbreachable line.

Coventry City FC hold stadium talks with Rugby Borough Council

And that I suspect is the root of the problem. Ranson sold them an investment, put x amount in and get a return of y. It didn't work. At that point they should have walked but for some reason they stuck around and in came Orange Ken. Ranson was far from great but I think its the point at which...

To help the atmosphere at the Ricoh

There's two problems with that. Firstly we've seen in the past that dropping prices doesn't see a corresponding rise in attendance. Secondly ticket revenue is our major source of income, how will the club afford to take a big hit on that? I would be surprised if we get 50% of revenues, I...

    Rugby: Would you go?

Would prefer it to be in Coventry but where would they build it. Matton has already said there's no suitable sites in the city. Would need to see the exact location but the area covered by RBC covers land very close to the city. If we're talking just over the boundary like Ansty, the airport or...

Coventry City FC hold stadium talks with Rugby Borough Council

They've made a right mess of running the football club for sure but are they generally incompetent? How do their other investments perform? Genuine question and I have no idea what the answer is, just wondered if the mess they've made here is the exception to their usual level of success.

    Highfield Road Memories: Goals

For some reason Drinkells goals against Villa always stands out for me: https://youtu.be/EFLqTj2zqD8?t=1m13s He was pretty useless after that. Watching it back look how empty it is for a local derby in the top division.

Coventry City FC hold stadium talks with Rugby Borough Council

I think you can debate it without thinking it's actually happening! The best thing that could happen would be for CCC to go here's a 60 acre site that's available and call Fisher's bluff.

Coventry City FC hold stadium talks with Rugby Borough Council

That sort of campaign would be best aimed at CCC in my opinion. Maton has already stated there are no sites available to the club inside the city boundary so unless something changes at CCC theres little to no chance of a new stadium within the city boundary.

Is this a late April Fool or are we going to have to admit Fisher was right?

    Portsmouth profit

Think it's still a case of wait and see. The accounting period being covered they were still in receipt of parachute payments and also had to have additional funding from their high net worths which pushed fan ownership down to 49%. And of course after accounting for tax and interest on their...

Guess the crowd for Orient .........

I'll go low, 6,900. If it's anything like it is down here its absolutely freezing and blowing a gale which won't encourage people. You know our fans, any excuse not to turn up. Sure some won't go as there's a circus tent in the car park!

From memory it was made up out of an amount outstanding after the money ACL had drawn down from the security account combined with a payment for the remaining term of the contract We didn't sell F&B to the council did we? Do you mean the 50% share in ACL we sold to Higgs? I think OSB said the...

    When will Sisu go?

There's two scenarios I can see them leaving in. The first is somehow they get their money back (or at least the amount they deem acceptable to walk away with). That would either need to be through someone buying us and paying us off, which seems highly unlikely given the state the club is in...
