    Our Best Ever Keeper ?

I loved watching Bill Glazier, a spectacular and exciting goalkeeper but Oggy would still be my choice for number one. Sheer consistency and all games played in the top flight. Glazier would be my second choice and Jim Blyth third. I never felt Hedman was that good. Certainly when it came to the...

    Bolton Troubles

I think what most fans want is an owner who cares, who is transparent in what they do and who communicates with them. Yes, there are idiot fans at every club, yobbos who think it is okay to throw stuff at other fans, or those who come on to a forum calling for the manager's head after a couple...

    Heading to L1

Followed up a week later by coming from behind from a Jim O’Brien goal to win at Barnsley in the FA Cup. A Yorkshire double. This was the high point for me of Presley’s time as manager. I loved those away wins as the view from the hill in Northampton was crap so most of the “home” highlights...

    Heading to L1

Nice memories of Rotherham last time we played there, coming from behind to take the lead, Murphy saving a penalty and Baker scoring from inside his own half. (We were also given a penalty which was for a foul later confirmed as outside the box. All of this made even better as Steve Evans was...

    Don Mackay

Really dull, safety first (which wasn’t very safe) football. Sillett and Curtis were a breath of fresh air and the shackles were off players like Regis and Bennett.

With Next Season In Mind ?

I went to Plymouth for the first time this season. I have to say that I was impressed. Home Park will be a nice ground when they finish their new stand. As it was, the ground was full with an enthusiastic and vocal support. I was also impressed with the team. Although overall I think we were the...

    Doing a "James Maddison"

He was sent off for it earlier in the season. He apologised then, obviously didn’t mean it.Its cheating and it shouldn’t happen. As an aside, just watching MOTD, as both the Leicester and the Man Utd games were coming to an end, I was amazed at the amount of empty seats from people who had...

Sky Blue and white hoops that would be a novelty. I don’t think we have had a home or away kit with hoops.

    Goal margins/Goalscoring

I don’t think he is ultra cautious. I think we play good attacking football, often carving the opposition open. Our lack of goals is there because we simply don’t putcarefully created chances away. Our football this season has generally been a joy to watch.

    Our path to the playoffs

I wonder what our odds were before Doncaster lost to Accrington. I don’t think there would have been many takers.

The boy from Man Utd was Eddie Johnstone. No where near as good as Mc Sheffield but played ahead of him.

Liam Kelly - First name on the teamsheet

I would imagine that not to far back he has some Irish relatives.

Also Peter Reid. He brought in a young lad (whose name escapes me) on loan from, I think Man Utd, and McSheffrey, despite his form the previous season under Eric Black, was left out.

    Fan Groups and Season Tickets

The thresholds for those were ridiculously high. They were never going to be reached.
