Absolutely agree with that. We're told that private lenders would have no issue lending tens of millions to a company losing millions a year to fund another company also making a loss. Why not do that then and replace the money which has been shown to be taxpayers money despite the council at...
If, when Fisher first said the rent was too high and ACL were reliant on CCFC to be a viable business, CCC and Higgs had turned round and said you can have ACL for under £6m and we'll extend the lease by 200 years we might be in a very different position now. But that would have meant CCC and...
Won't cost us a penny, have Wasps said we can stop paying rent?
All the food kiosks could have Michelin stars for all I care. I can manage to go 2 hours in the afternoon without eating and what is available to eat an drink is way down my list of priorities.
I quite like Geoff and Clive on commentary, maybe just because they've been doing it for so long. Although Geoff seems to have been ditched to cover Wasps. Maybe they need to get let them just do the match and get someone else in to do the after match stuff.
Millions according to Lucas who seems to have a broken calculator. Who gives a shit anyway neither the city or the cities football club or rugby club are going to benefit. If a million people turn up for the game it would in no way validate franchising a club from London to Coventry.
I was a fan of Baker when he was here but I'm not sure how we go from him being one of the better of a group of under-performing players to manager in waiting. The last thing we need with the state the club is in would be to have someone learning on the job. Maybe if he was still here as a...
We've had a lot of shit posts that are way off topic on this forum over the years but that one should be given an award. Do the PR company pay you extra for posting at weekends?
And if you think no free tickets are available for that game you are mistaken, well either that or my Dad is lying to...
If we go down, and it's a very real possibility, I can quite easily see us dropping out of the league completely. I think there's more chance of that than us getting back up quickly.
If you go back and read the match thread there's pages of posts before there equaliser where everyone but Pressley could see what was coming. As you say it's not like they got lucky with their only attack of the game.
You could see that coming a mile off. Yet again when the opposition apply the pressure we have no answer. No options on the bench and a manager that isn't astute enough tactically to be able to make a chance to counter any pressure.
Another high point in the season :sarcasm:
You have to say something is wrong here with the number of players who leave, particularly youngsters, having been written off as not up to standard and immediately start playing better and doing well for teams higher up the FL than us.
I think the same and to be honest if there was a switch you could flick and not be a supporter anymore I'd probably have flicked it by now. When I think of the amount of time and money I have spent on the club in nearly 30 years and look at what I've got in return in terms of enjoyment I'm...
