    Max Chomping at the bit

Overhead kicks at Cheltenham and Notts County. His disallowed goal at Stevenage was a bit special too.

How do you know he can’t play at this level when he hasn’t had a chance to prove himself yet. I can see why you might say he isn’t Premier League or even Championship level. To say so definitely that he is not good enough even to fulfill Bakayoko’s current role seems harsh. It is only one level...

    Rose, Mcfazdean, Hyam

When it works it is great. I am not saying that we change but there are times that we seem to get bogged down and can’t seem to work the ball out. I felt that this was the case at Oxford where we were frequently losing the ball. On the other hand, there are times where the system works in a...

    Richard Stevens to West Brom?

And playing for Ireland. On a side note, is Thomas back at Leicester? I haven’t heard of a loan for him but may have missed it. What a waste if he is stuck in the U23s.

    Would JCH have fitted in

Now here we can agree and then disagree again. I thought McQuoid was a very poor player as it seems you do too from the comment above. He subsequently disappeared into non league football as far as I know. Where we will disagree again is that I think Biamou is a far better, more effective player...

As we are talking facts it was three play off games. You also talk about headed goals. In the league two season I don’t think as a team we scored many headed goals as we tried to work the ball into McNulty’s feet. Off the top of my head (pardon the pun), I can only think of McNulty at Luton...

    Would JCH have fitted in

Not now. Max has been out for over a year with his injury while JCH has gone on to fulfill the potential that he obviously had while he was here but so frequently failed to live up to. Hence why Biamou was preferred to him at the conclusion of the League Two season and the start of last by a...

    Would JCH have fitted in

You stated he had never scored a first team headed goal. He has. It's like saying McNulty never scored 27 goals as some of them came against non-league teams in the FA Cup. It's not a question of whether I am happy or not, it is just saying that your fact is wrong. If you look at the clips of...

    First choice midfield

I thought that Walsh had a great debut game on Saturday. He looks like he could be a stand out player. I notice his contract at Bristol City is up at the end of this season too. Based on a single performance, so too early to really say, but I wonder if we would be in to sign him permenantly in...

Did you watch the clip of his goals? His first goal for us was a header from a corner in a cup match. I think his first goal in the league may have been that rocket of a shot from all of 25 yards against Swindon.

Thank you. Loving it so far. So nice to just have the choice of things to do during the day and not trying to fit things in around work. It does mean I can go to as many games as I want always allowing for family commitments.

Biamou 9 goals in 49 appearances. JCH 4 in 21 appearances Max is slightly better on the only season they both played. JCH 6 in 29 last season scoring at about the same rate 1 in 5.

It’s a shame he didn’t perform that way when he was here.

    Would JCH have fitted in

No, don’t think so. The comparison was with JCH not Godden. Having said that, I would rather see Biamou on the bench than Bakayoko.

Glad our fans aren't the manager...

I would have thought that it is a sign of a good manager who adapts the way his team plays to suit those players that he has available. Would we have won those games we lost had he changed things around? No guarantee of that at all. Every team loses games, even Man City occasionally. Do they...
