He chose? I thought board members were elected. All beside the point now as he is not on the board.(Even if he was, I don’t see that as a reason to ban him).
  2. Irish Sky Blue

    Coventry supprters club

That's just the point. He is no one special. Just a City fan. Therefore, why make a special case and ban him?

Moz is not on the Trust board anymore. I can’t speak for the current board, but the people on it before were ordinary fans who cared about the club. They certainly weren’t vermin. As for being in it for themselves, I’m not sure what they get out of it apart from abuse or aggro. Interesting that...

I doubt that. The opinions expressed by a lot of people on here are not the opinions of a lot of fans who either go to St Andrews or who have chosen not to. Mom Baker always comes across as a really genuine person, agree or disagree with him. He is certainly a City fan, home and away who would...

Match Thread Coventry City vs. AFC Wimbledon Match Thread - Tuesday 17th Sep

Probably why Ifollow isn’t a good thing. (hypocritical of me as I have watched a few away games that I haven’t been able to get to). I can’t see how having the opportunity to watch at home (or in the pub as one poster said) is going to do anything but make the attendance less than it would have...

    Ex Player Watch

I don’t understand this. They are either an effective player or they’re not. It doesn’t matter to me if they have come through the academy or not. The Kelly Evans twins would be a case in point. I always thought that Dion ( the full back) looked a good player. His brother I was never convinced...

    Ex Player Watch

When Stevenson first broke into the team I thought he looked a really good player, spraying passes and an eye for goal too. He was injured for a while and never really got his early form back. Hard to understand how he could fade so badly.

    Max Chomping at the bit

I think that you are wriggling a bit. The fact is that in his first season in the league, Biamou started 30 games in all competitions. He came of the bench 27 times, a lot of those for very limited minutes. He scored 9 goals. His first goal was a header. He scored two goals oin a really high...

Just checked on soccerbase (link below) This confirms Biamou startied 30 games and was a used sub in 27. His goals per minutes on the pitch, particularly second half of the season must be pretty good. Maxime Biamou | Football Stats | Coventry City | Age 28 | Soccer Base

Been busy, need to check that Wikipedia got it right. As always if wrong, happy to apologise. I will use another source to check. His goals tally is certainly correct so maybe only half drivel if the 30 starts stat is wrong. Incidentally, it would be interesting to know your definition of a...

Already pointed this out to him. Presume he is trying to say WBA u21 aren’t professional.

Biamou scored 9 goals that season from 30 starts. I don’t know why cup and playoff games don’t count.

Disbelieving person that I am, I just checked the stats and you are right, JCH did start the majority of those games. However, this does highlight that Biamou got the goals he did from a limited amount of time on the pitch. Significantly, he started the three most important games of the season...

Transfer Rumour August Manager of the Month

You would have to feel a bit sorry for the Wycombe manager (whose name escapes me) after getting a team with, probably, limited resources to the top of the league and not even be nominated. I don't believe in the curse stuff but after Robins got it last season, how long was the win less run?

    Max Chomping at the bit

You need to look at how Max started that season and how he finished it. His improvement was tremendous. If you consider his performances after the Newport game when he regained his place from JCH his impact on the team and results was tremendous.

He scored nine that season and played no where near 40 lots of 90 minutes.

He wouldn't need to. He scored a variety in that fourth division season.
