Yeah, Coleman (and Ranson's) tenure was utterly disastrous & I wonder how much of that has played into the way Sisu are now. On paper they were investing in a reasonable model (on the playing side not off the field) but they trusted the wrong people to deliver it.

Warnock was a fantastic manager, one of the best ever at this level, but the game has now moved on & he was completely left behind in recent years. They don't have to be mutually exclusive.

Was quite a unique cameo from Waghorn yesterday. Had that one excellent effort which, lets be honest, nobody else in our squad could pull off & also played one exquisite ball over the top for Gyok that he really should have done better with. That's coupled with a couple of really loose touches...

He's not especially prolific but his skillset would be a good fit for our style imo. Plays a lot of games from wide rather than through the middle too.

Mental to have a player who has never taken a league penalty at any level take such an important one when they had Weghorst & Rodriguez on the pitch who both have decent records.

Unbelievably he's been beaten to 15 bookings! Less surprising is that it was by Matt Crooks. Hamer just edges him in bookings per minute though 👊🏻 Sam Field made a sterling effort in vastly fewer minutes!
