Do you want to discuss boring politics?

Apparently brexit is the only thing that’s allowing us to address the issues caused by brexit. Grant Shapps. While somehow managing to keep a straight face.

    Coronavirus Thread (Off Topic, Politics)

If your brain was made of dynamite you wouldn’t have enough to blow your nose. They were peer reviewed by other scientists with the relevant qualifications not free thinkers like right said Fred.

Until people start panic buying. Do you remember when the HGV drivers blockaded all the oil refineries and people went bat shit crazy filling wheelie bins full of petrol etc. It’s was much like the toilet paper crisis at the beginning of Covid. If people had have just purchased what they need...

    Any vegans ?

TBF Ben and Jerry’s are doing some really nice vegan flavours now so the dairy ice cream intake has been dropping for a while now. My wife also does an awesome chocolate mousse made with Silken Tofu. I think she got the recipe from the vegan society.

    Derby points deduction

As much as I feel for Derby fans having been through it ourselves I feel more for the Wycombe fans as I firmly believe that they should have had a points deduction last season over their creative accounting and Wycombe would have stayed up. Brexit Benefits

I think you’re right but the strike was while the coal mines were nationalised and the government capped their wages to tackle high inflation rates. Do you want to discuss boring politics?

Apparently a report in 2010 advised we double our gas storage capacity in preparation of what we’re seeing now. It doesn’t sound like this is an issue that couldn’t have been prepared for, the government was being advised that this was likely to happen at some point and did less than nothing if...
