    Robins to Stoke ?

It only clears up that on this issue you have limited capacity for nuanced thinking. Wishing Robins well in his career as someone who gave the club so much when it was on its knees is very different to supporting Stoke who I agree are not a likeable club.

    Robins to Stoke ?

Your perspective seems a bit confused. While it's natural to want the team to finish as high as possible, logically not every other team can perform poorly - someone has to come second, third, and so on. Surely it's natural that some fans will be wishing success for Mark given his positive...

Match Thread Coventry City - Millwall FC Match Thread - Sunday 29th Dec

There seemed to be some tactical shortcomings in today's game. Millwall executed their gameplan to perfection, implementing a disciplined low block while maintaining aggressive pressing across the pitch. Though Lampard can't have missed the issue we stubbornly maintained our formation and...

Match Thread Coventry City - Plymouth Argyle Match Thread - Thursday 26th Dec

Can see your logic but at home to a poor team with Sheaf as a dedicated holding midfielder screening the back four with Rudoni's box-to-box capabilities could be useful in preventing the team from being overrun. Simms and Basette as a partnership should help the team retain possession more...

Match Thread Coventry City - Plymouth Argyle Match Thread - Thursday 26th Dec

I think Frank needs to move away from favoring ex-Chelsea players and return to the defensive unit that proved so solid last season. After last weekend's performance, he should give chances to: Defense: Bidwell, Kitching, Thomas, and MVE, with Dovin in goal Formation: 4-1-3-2 with: Dovin MVE -...

    Doug King

The irony of our current stadium situation! SISU adopted aggressive tactics including relocating us to Northampton, attempting to financially distress the then owners of the CBS Arena. Now, with Doug at the helm, the club finds itself potentially facing similar pressure tactics from Frasers...

    Transfer Rumour January transfer window

More one for the summer, but I read that Callum Wilson is going to leave Newcastle on a free at 32 might now be the time to return to his hometown club if a couple of our current forwards left.

    Why Collins?

I saw the press conference and was suprised how much he was praising Ben. I get he is a big personality and helpful person from a morale perspective, however, based on his proven goalkeeping inability, is not the answer.

    Binks Clean Sheets

Bidwell Kitching Lati MVE Lati over Thomas is a marginal call but he deserves to be dropped for his part in today's appalling result.

    Season over already?

It's very much not season over as this league changes very fast with 3 wins in a row. Sadly the issue seems to be we can't win 2 games in a row let alone 3!

FA cup 3rd round. Thirteen quid. Not bad.

20 priority points for this game is very decent too.

FA cup 3rd round. Thirteen quid. Not bad.

Great pricing from Doug for a change. Hope the team are rewarded with a bumper crowd and atmosphere. I suspect Sheffield Wednesday will sell their allocation and hope we get close to doing so also.

    Sheaf

Some posts on this thread are quite a way off the mark. Sheaf while not playing his best in the last few games is a top quility player in this division. Think he will improve as the season goes on as well.

We would have been better off with Robins

Ironically it was the tougher games we used to well with MR in charge for. Our issues were against teams like Derby at home.
