That said never questioned the commitment of anyone on the list. Also as a club we progressed fast through the leagues and that exposed one or two to scrutiny that they would not have got had we remained in league 1 etc.
Can anyone who is in CV6 more than myself advise.
1. Are they actively actually doing the road repairs? I am in CV6 weekly and it seems progress is non existent.
2. How long do the Council anticipate there will be on going issues for?
3. Why has no one come up with a better plan than...
I would start both. We need to control the ball in games like tonight and while others are more creative, solidity and not lettjng them doninate the ball was/should have been the option.
We are overly obsessed with a 433. We played that formation most of the season and were conceding two goals a game. 5 at the back with progressive CBs is the way and two up top. We retain the ball in advance positions and it's making us harder to beat.
Eccles 7m, if we can get anywhere near that figure from Stoke etc. We should sell and allow him to continue his progress in a first 11. Genuinely a nice lad but has Allen, Torp, Sheaf, Rudoni and Grimes (potentially) all ahead of him.
We struggled when Allen went off yesterday.
As an aside our aggressive 5 at the back with Kitching often in midfield areas and putting in crosses looks the way to go for now.
That's right he confirmed JP was training with us. If after a few weeks Frank thinks he is an upgrade on what we have, then I am sure he will be signed. At that point, with Lampard making that first hand assessment on his ability, I would support the signing.
