    Match Thread Reading

I agree, I think we can take it as a compliment. We have players who are comfortable on the ball and who can hurt teams. It stands to reason that we will suffer above average amounts of ‘treatment’ than a team like Barnsley perhaps who get the ball forward more quickly. The only reason I think...

    Match Thread Reading

I hate the way that some teams play, the blatant frustrating time wasting,, the idea of rotation fouling, the take one for the team mentality. Forest, Barnsley and Reading are all guilty of this and I really feel something has to change to stop teams ‘managing games’. Let’s not kid ourselves but...

I'd be happy with a scraped victory by a single goal.

Racist remark towards a coventry player

Might make some of the cretins in our 'support' who boo the players taking the knee before games think again (I would doubt it). Happened at the Forest and Barnsley games and again last night, booing that is quickly drowned out by the majority who applaud.

    Robins

Ah, but he was lucky that Jones got injured as this meant he stumbled onto the formation that got us promoted. Just like he was lucky when Hiwula got injured at half time against Fleetwood and he stumbled onto the wing back formation. A run of one losing game and the taxi will be back.

    Eric McManus in goal unfortunately.

It was a terrible performance all around, so not just blaming him for our defeat, but wasn't O'Brien at fault for both of the Blackpool goals?

I like Allen. I think he still has something to offer. He started last season in the team and looked off the pace. Since then, in the bits and pieces of games that he has played I think he has done okay.I think some people are too quick to write off players.

    We will be fine.

When both were available, Kelly started more games.

    We will be fine.

He is also always available, even in very tight situations. He provides an outlet ball to his team mates, helping them out of difficult areas. With this in mind, it’s not surprising that pass completion rate is lower than others. Fortunately players are not just judged on stats alone. The impact...

    We will be fine.

You have just shown why Kelly is Captain and why Robins keeps picking him. He is a good leader and one of the reasons for this is that the other players respect his playing ability. As you say, if he couldn’t play to Championship standard, that respect would not be there.

    We will be fine.

Disagree. I think he was our most influential performer in the games in which he played. You mention his performance second half of the season but I think he was instrumental in the vital, late season win at Rotherham for example.

I was in the ticket office on Friday at about 2pm. I asked the lady behind the counter how many we had sold. At that stage it was about 19k. Great if they have shifted another 9k but does seem a bit doubtful. I would have thought maybe 22k will turn up?

You can use it in the shop. I was there today sorting some tickets out, my mate bought a coat paying part of the cost with the voucher.

    Matty Godden

We were 7 points clear of Rotherham with a game in hand. We were unbeaten in something like 16 games, had won perhaps 5 or 6 away games on the bounce, were scoring in every game and were conceding very few. We didn't win the league by default. We won it because we were the best team in that...
