The SISU response to the Guardian & Overseas company ownership of clubs.

Tax avoidance ranks pretty low on my list of things that are wrong with football to be honest. If they closed the loopholes on companies in generally surely it would apply to football clubs as well?

It holds 1,600 in the away end which is standing behind the goal. I if remember correctly we also got some seating in the stand next to the terrace last year.

Wasps owner Derek Richardson explains Coventry move and rejects "franchise" tag

Except that's not the case is it. When Fisher said he had spoken to Rugby council it wasn't just accepted as fact. The CT were firing in FOI requests to try and disprove him, and I have no problem with them trying to validate his claims, when it was found to be incorrect it was shoe-horned into...

Wasps owner Derek Richardson explains Coventry move and rejects "franchise" tag

Wasps get a lot of articles in the paper that read like PR pieces. I have no idea if the CT editor is coming up with these or Wasps are approaching suggesting what is newsworthy but it does read like exactly he sort of thing you'd be after if you employed a PR firm - obviously not the case as...

Wasps owner Derek Richardson explains Coventry move and rejects "franchise" tag

To me it allows him to paint a false picture. For example Wasps weren't nomadic, that's factually incorrect. Now he obviously said it and you may well have questioned him on it but people will read this article and it will now become fact.

Wasps owner Derek Richardson explains Coventry move and rejects "franchise" tag

Did you challenge him when he claimed CRFC increased attendances were down to Wasps and nothing to do with their incredible form, the outright lies he repeatedly told the Wasps fans when stating they would move back to London, statements like saying Wasps were already nomadic which are clearly...

Wasps owner Derek Richardson explains Coventry move and rejects "franchise" tag

i'd be surprised if even Richardson himself believes the rubbish he's spouting in this interview. He probably thought these guidable idiots will lap up anything I say. Did you challenge him on any of his statements Simon or is this just a Wasps PR piece? A few of my favourites: “It’s not a...

    Those hoping for WASPs demise

We know that the current deal only allows us to be competitive at L1 level. Fisher told us that (not that it means much coming from him), the figures from previous championship seasons back him up as do the independent experts CWR and CT have called upon. So our best hope is an occasional season...

    Sisu pr

I live in Pompey and have been offered tickets to several games via companies I work with, none of whom are Midlands based. Admittedly they have offered them to me as they've made the Coventry connection but it still shows that tickets are floating around far and wide. My Dad, who is retired...

    Those hoping for WASPs demise

Personally I'm hoping we get out of League 1 next season (and not by getting relegated!). Of course its then the sustain part that's the problem.

Also makes you wonder why they would go to those lengths to repay a loan when there's no pressure to pay it? Can only think they're either worried about the outcome of the JR for some reason or worried about being able to meet payments as I can't imagine fans taking steps to recover the money in...

    Those hoping for WASPs demise

Everyone's favourite award winning journalist is also reporting the Wasps refinancing story. Reid's sources say that Wasps are planning to raise the money, in part, by asking fans to lend it to them on the promise they will be able to pay it back at some point! Bet Tim is gutted he didn't think...
