    Coventry parkrun

So the council will only pay for parks if nobody uses them! I can see where some councils come from where they are charging professional trainers who are charging people but this is totally different.

Coventry City staring into Football Abyss

Well according to TM he hasn't been in the first team this season as his performances when he was moved up to U21 weren't good enough. He went on to say he would have had pre-season with the first team and from there it would be down to how he performed but he would have likely been used in the...

Coventry City staring into Football Abyss

No ambition? £900 seems a good offer. Didn't TM say they had offered him more than a first year pro would normally be offered? What do you expect them to do, pay him more than the players in the first team? £2K (has that been confirmed anywhere or is it guesswork) might seem great now but long...

    Feeding Families For Less

They've built a massive new Tescos right by me (in what was the car park for Fratton Park). Its always empty as there's too many supermarkets in a small area. Means there's always loads of reduced stuff, quite often pop in when I'm passing. As its so quiet you can be in and out in minutes...

Why did Waggot leave City ?

Does the average ticket price vary much from season to season? I guess the thing that could have impacted this year was the introduction of the match packages, if they were more popular than expected the average ticket price would drop.

Maybe they should have thought about that at the start!

    England cricket

Terrible news in one way but also good that they've found it the way they have rather than something serious happening. Hopefully he can get the treatment he needs and it won't have a long term impact on his life.

    Millwall next week

If the police are that worried they should do something similar to what happens at Portsmouth v Southampton games. You have to take a club coach from the home ground to the away ground, which are police escorted. Then keep them in after the match until the home fans have dispersed and load the...

Details of stadium deal must be revealed

Don't see why any details of the Ricoh deal can't be published now. There's no commercial reason not to as its a done deal.

    John Terry

Terry gets a lot of stick and does seem a bit of an idiot to say the least but credit where its due. He's paid for the funeral of a young Chelsea supporter: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-cambridgeshire-36014630

    Justice For Cov Fan

Stewards waded in to remove SISU out banners. Predictably it all kicked off and the police got involved. Makes you laugh really. We have a group that refuses to let the away fans anywhere near the home fans or make use of the train station but I bet they didn't do anything about the stewards...

    Justice For Cov Fan

Seems without him doing that there would have been no action at all taken against the offending officer and Wynn would still be banned from going to games. Article shows everything that is wrong with the police and the legal system. Instead of coming out and saying they were in the wrong they...

    Leicester article by David Conn

The only way to do it is have a fixed squad, so like the world cup you name your squad before the first game and thats it for the season. Have a salary cap, and potentially a salary floor as well. Would make the league much more competitive.

    Millwall next week

Is it the police who have come up with this plan? Why don't the CT ask them about it. Any idiot can see what is going to happen if you restrict tickets to away supporters and allow pay on the gate for home fans.

That equates to £1.2m which is 3 players salary based on average championship wages. I think that represents a significant problem. And thats before you consider any other incomes we don't get access to.

    Cold calling

Virgin doesn't make any use of the phone line for broadband but you still have to pay line rental. I don't even have the phone line cabling physically coming into the house and I still have to pay line rental.

    Cold calling

That annoys me with Virgin. Its annoying with other providers but you do need the phone line to get broadband. That's not the case with Virgin. I haven't even got anywhere to plug a phone in and they still charge me.
