The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

This guy on twitter sums it up for me in response to David Frost

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

They nailed that on with their support for Brexit and thinking Boris was their mate whose word could be trusted. Problem for them is NI can’t just keep having assembly elections until the DUP are ready to go back into power sharing, at some point NI will have to go back to rule from London which...

The EU: In, out, shake it all about....

Who knows what the DUP wants. Globes banned because the earth is flat? Homosexuals stoned to death? All dinosaur fossils ground into dust because the planet is only 4000 years old and dinosaurs are an elaborate hoax? Mandatory burning of fossil fuels because climate change is a hoax? Take your...

    A) not all of the UK’s coastline is like Beachy Head so god knows what point it is you think you’re making there. B) you’re clearly having a bad day and need an argument to feel better about yourself. This isn’t the place for it so I’m just going to ignore you on this thread from now on.

Ah, okay. Might not be the most common form of suicide but it does happen, especially in costal areas.

    USSR invades Ukraine.

Okay Neville. Don’t you worry your pretty little head about a lunatic with an army behind him, a fanatical following in his homeland and an ambition for expansion. I’m sure there’s no period in history that could teach us about the perils of ignoring that. At least not in Europe anyway.

I think it’s right it’s getting so much attention. If she has disappeared on a bender she’s vulnerable to her issues surrounding her her mental health and alcohol, the longer this goes on the more physical damage will happen to her body. If something more sinister has happened and there’s foul...

One of my oldest friends has serious issues with alcohol. He stays sober for months sometimes a year or two then every now and again he secretly squirrels away money until he has enough to go on a massive bender. Just disappears. No one knows where he is, usually in a cheap B&B until he gets...

    Fuel prices

Something is seriously wrong here. People are skipping meals to heat their house or not heating their house so they can eat and then you hear this. The government seriously needs to sort this out. The energy price cap is clearly weighted heavily in favour of these companies recording record profits.

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

I can’t say I pay that much attention to Scottish politics TBF. Although I had heard of Sturgeon before she became the first minister which is probably testament to what a big character in UK not just Scottish politics she’s been over the years.

    Phone fast charging

She could be at the end of a run from the local transformer so her house isn’t getting the nominal 220v. Voltage drops with distance, the nearer your house is to the transformer the higher the voltage you get, the further away you are the less voltage you get.

Never heard of either of them.

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

I would think a combination of all the Salmond drama, losing the right to a second referendum in the courts and then all this transsexual drama with the UK government overturning a Scottish assembly decision has meant that she’s seen the music is about to stop so she’s leaving the dance floor...

    USSR invades Ukraine.

I don’t mind Ben Wallace as defence minister. Don’t agree with him on anything else really but on defence he’s usually there or there abouts. He just needs the rest of the government to wake up now

It wasn’t our fault that the car crashed, we only had our hands on the steering wheel. It’s the fault of the driver in the car a mile down the road that never had their hands on the steering wheel. Jesus Christ, grow up and own what you did

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

Think he tried to distance himself from it originally when the Mail started kicking off about it but has since rowed back claiming that the meeting was about getting the most out of Brexit rather than admitting it’s a failure.
