Anyone else dreading the BBC classic remakes?

Which is the older one? Would be that as its from back when it was BBC policy to reuse tapes hence the original not being around anymore.

    MP asks for CCFC intervention

Brighton left their original stadium with no plans in place to play anywhere let alone in Brighton. They then played in Gillingham, 75 miles away, with no plans for a new stadium in Brighton.

So our grounds man gets the FL average despite not having to maintain the Ricoh.

The only one I might give a try is In Sickness and In Health. Curious how they are going to do that as they're remaking one of the lost episodes, can't see how they'll get away with it.

    Warwick University Approached for Academy.

Excellent news. Between their current facilities and those they are planning think they have the majority of the things we would need. Wouldn't be against a stadium up there to be honest, and you could stick it just over the city boundary so you don't need to deal with CCC.

there's the old discretion though so that could be ignored.

    MP asks for CCFC intervention

Are you sure? IMO the FL would be more concerned about not losing what, despite our current status, is still a pretty big team. They'd be even more concerned about spending years fighting SISU in court.

    Football League Finances

Remember when Pompey fans were kicking off about the fit and proper persons test (which was of course after years of silence as their dodgy owner spent millions) the FL basically told them the test was meaningless and they couldn't enforce anything as they didn't have the money for any potential...

Shocking the terrible state SISU have let it get into. This is what happens when you don't employ a groundsman

Maybe the Trust or the Telegraph could ask the same questions. See if they get a response.

If they both say no then they couldn't make their stance much clearer could they. You would then be able to say without a doubt that the club are being forced out of the city.

    MP asks for CCFC intervention

Completely agree with this. The idea that SISU won't sell or will only sell for £60m is crazy for me. They didn't want to own a football club in the first place, it was simply an investment. They certainly don't want to own a football club that is, at best, breaking even for years to come...

Or how about the FL go to Wasps and say are you prepared to extend the clubs agreement on the current terms. And then they could go to the council and request they asset the club with any plans they may have now or in the immediate future.

Another MP rushing to get involved

I hope these MPs are suddenly sounding off because the CT have been on to them and not because we're about to get another kick in the teeth.

Another MP rushing to get involved

How does that work then? The FL can only look at any agreement presented to them by the club and either say they are happy with it and will allow the club to continue in the League or that they aren't happy with it. I would say the league are low down on the list of organisations who can resolve...

    Council helps football club

How have you made the leap from the league saying we are looking for a long-term solution, with no mention of building a new ground, to stating that they believe we are building a new stadium? What does being in L1, which of course we weren't when we moved to the Ricoh, have anything to do with...

Rose out injured for 'weeks, if not months'

Is Bigi still under contact to Newcastle or has he been released? Wouldn't be top of my list of players to bring in but I think there's a decent player at this level in there somewhere.
