Been out tonight so just catching up and the BBC seems to have backed themselves into a corner so badly it’s hard to see how they’re going to get out of it without having to apologise to Gary Lineker. Which would be hilarious.
The BBC is waiting patiently for the silent majority to find their voice and back them up. Oh, wait… they don’t exist like everything else in the phoney culture war.
Does it help that I criticised GB news when they cancelled right wing pundit Guto Harri for expressing solidarity with the England footballers who were racially abused for missing penalties.
Hold on. There’s a pattern emerging here. It’s the right that’s doing cancel culture.

It did for me. I recognise his achievements Middle East aside but the gulf war, especially the second did more damage than just an unjustified war. It’s been a recruitment tool for Islamic extremism that has probably done more damage than the Iraq invasion on its own and it’s a shockwave still...
