Remember Kevin MacDonald? He could barely move but could hit a pass from one side of the pitch to the other with no trouble.

    Council Hearing Match Thread

Would have been a good idea for the council to follow their own guidelines on asset disposal and ensure it was properly marketed and widely advertised in that case. That way they could maximise the chance of multiple bidders and therefore obtain a better return for the taxpayer.

Lets compare the actual quotes. Ainsworth said "Many of us accept the need for a realistic approach to the lease and management issues if the stadium is to reach its full potential. Changes would be supported with the right partner at the right time. But Sisu is not entitled to bully its way...

Would that not be because most people would not expect the cities own council to sell the stadium to a rugby club from London? Especially as they took every opportunity they could in local media to tell everyone how wrong it was for a club to be playing outside their home city.

    CCFC Accounts, £1.9M Loss

Of course this highlights a problem with football in general not just CCFC. The authorities really need to get a grip with the finances and make sure all clubs are self sustaining.

A lot to be positive about there. Being self sustaining, lower debt as much has been converted to shares, increased investment in the academy, increased revenue. And of course shows that the claims the club is spending millions on court cases isn't in fact true.

    CCFC Accounts, £1.9M Loss

The £61m is a bit of a red herring. The clubs debt is £10.5m. The £61m isn't a debt, it doesn't exist at all anymore. It is now shares and they are worth whatever anyone will pay for them. Sure SISU could say they want £61m, equally they could say they want £6.1m or £610m. Pretty sure SISU...

    Leicester City Fan in Peace

Much as I hate to admit it he is probably right. You're in a massive city with little top level competition nearby. A large and recently updated stadium. Really when you look at it there's no reason they couldn't be another Man City or Chelsea. Even expanding the ground, which was said to be a...

    Worst CCFC Team - Manager

We're like a managers graveyard. Does any other club have such a poor record for managers success after they've gone? I'm struggling to think of anyone who's done much since leaving. Suppose Coleman could be one but I think his 'success' is more down to the fact there's not a lot of...

    Council Hearing Match Thread

Ignoring the fact that your comment has very little to do with the CT suppressing stories at the request of the council on what evidence are you basing your claims that SISU knew full details of what was happening (i.e.: Wasps were being sold ACL at a low price with a huge lease extension)?

Lets look at the complaints then. Whether Coun Mutton’s conduct was unacceptable We find there’s insufficient evidence to show Coun Mutton’s behaviour was unacceptable. Whether the councillors had made inappropriate or defamatory comments. We do not consider that the comments made by either...
