    The phone in!!

He's a great example. What was he, 19 or 20 when he came to us. Why pay for an academy to develop players when you can let someone else do it and pick up the cast offs. As NW says you need a Wilson or Maddison every 4 years. That's great if you keep producing them and they stay long enough to...

    The phone in!!

You can see why some teams have wound up their academies since the EPPP came in. How many first teamers do we get coming through a year? Lets be generous and say 5, that's £200K a go. The compensation scheme means if Sambou goes we get back about £100K, so taking into account the FA money we...

    Calling the ticket office

If they haven't got the capacity to answer the calls they should remove that option. Anything that can be done online should be online only or pay on the day. Free the phone line up for things that can't be done online.

    Grand National

Find that really shocking. That's over 150 a year just in the UK. Just googled a bit about it and it looks like you can treble that when you take into account deaths that don't occur during a race. How is that allowed to happen with seemingly so little opposition?

    Cold calling

I've got a phone number as part of my Virgin package but I didn't even bother getting it cabled in let alone connecting a phone to it. Only number I have and if it isn't a number I recognise or is withheld I let it go to voicemail.

Coventry Bears playing at the Ricoh

750 - 1000, anything over 1000 seems to be regarded as excellent.

    Calling the ticket office

Think if that happens the next round of legal action would be SISU going after compensation. With the Ricoh now out of the picture they could go all out and attempt to get the cost of a new stadium. Long way to go before we get to that stage though.

Coventry Bears playing at the Ricoh

Why is this game at the Ricoh anyway. Seems a bit odd, just googled some of their attendances and it can't be because they need the capacity!

    Bassala Sambou

Think it was Pressley who said we're at a point now where you go to look at 10 or 11 year old kids who have shown promise and they already have an agent.

    Bassala Sambou

Great idea, they shouldn't be hiding in the shadows taking their %.

Coventry Bears playing at the Ricoh

They weren't keen on having the youth cup game against Arsenal at the Ricoh this season.

Ricoh events and Wasps ticket outlet

You could have a card, we did when we first moved to the Ricoh. The problem, as you say, is that unless its a season ticket with details printed on it, there's no seat identification. Also whenever they used to fail the stewards would just let you through, can be certain there would be people...

Millwall: No Pay on the day in 14-18

How can you get that worked up about a game at that level?

    Bassala Sambou

He should be snapping their hand off for that. When you look at that compared to the L1 average and what PL U21s are getting its a great offer. Can't imagine we've offered more than 2 years so he could take that for a year, get himself into the first team and scoring and then either negotiate...

Ricoh events and Wasps ticket outlet

We used to have that. Still got mine somewhere. The problem with it was you had to remember what seat you'd booked. Of course no-one did so you had loads of people turning up with no clue where they were supposed to be sitting! You could get round that these days by having an app with a QR code...

Ricoh events and Wasps ticket outlet

That's the problem. People say we should use the same system as Wasps. That would mean either putting ticket prices up to cover the cost or the club making less per ticket sold. Is that the best idea when the budget is tight?

Coventry Bears playing at the Ricoh

Bit strange given that ACL have been blocking us playing extra games at the Ricoh to protect the pitch.
