If you could afford to what sporting events around the world would you go to see

Don't think we'll ever get Mania, the weather isn't reliable enough at this time of year. More chance of SummerSlam. They did speak with Wembley, Old Trafford and Millennium Stadium a couple of years back about holding that here but nothing came of it. Think the less they rely on PPV revenues...

If you could afford to what sporting events around the world would you go to see

Been to 3 (so far), 26 in Phoenix, 28 in Miami and 29 in NY/NJ. Would highly recommend it. Depending on where it is and flight costs you can actually do it pretty cheap. There's always cheap hotels if you look around and you'll only be there to sleep so the most basic will do. Sitting at the...

    Walking Dead Season 6

There's no technical reason it can't be done. Doctor Who Anniversary special was broadcast in 94 countries at the same time and cinemas worldwide as well. Only reason I can think of is they want people to watch live so they have to watch the adverts. If it was on in the middle of the night a...

"Realistic" free transfers or signings only

I wouldn't hesitate for a second if Turner wanted to sign for us. Can't see him dropping down to L1 though. Don't regard him as injury prone, he got a bad injury that kept him out for an extended period. The injury he got with us wasn't related, just bad luck. As for Reda if we can get him on...

    Make or Break

But as I said that only suits someone who thinks we need a new stadium. As Tony said if a potential owner does not believe we need a new stadium then they will be concerned buy the lack of a long term deal. The sale of the Ricoh to Wasps has left is in an incredibly difficult position when it...

    Millwall 16/04

Remember back when we all watched from behind fences and away fans were kept in at the end. I recall one season Millwall came to HR and someone thought it would be the perfect match to test letting everyone out at the same time!

    Make or Break

Perfectly illustrates the problem. Neither a 3-5 or 10 year agreement would be of much value for a potential owner who sees the Ricoh as the long term option but the longer the agreement put in place the more off putting it will be for someone who doesn't see our future at the Ricoh.

    Builder needed urgently!

If you block it up aren't you going to trap the rat in there? You'll end up with a dead rat that stinks.

    Make or Break

But if there's a potential owner at some point down the line who believes we need to own our stadium and is prepared to provide it (as happened with Brighton) then being signed up to a long term deal at the Ricoh could be a hinderance.

Boxing Day Ashes test for me. Doubt I'll ever get to do that. Would also like to go to a test in the West Indies, again doubt that will ever happen. Would like to see more NHL games live, got more chance of doing that one. Would particularly like to see my team (Ottawa Senators).

What would your England team be for the euros

Anyone who isn't fully fit should stay at home. We seem to make the same mistake at every tournament taking half fit players in the hope they will magically recover by the time the knock outs start.

    Gillingham match thread

Well at least we didn't lose I suppose. Hard to generate any enthusiasm for a draw when we've got from playing for automatic to play-offs to trying to stay in the top half.

    Make or Break

I don't entertain them, I just don't think repeating the same mistake we made over and over again in the past, spending more than we have, is the way to get us out of the mess we are in.

Jones must either have taken a knock or isn't up to full match fitness and can't play a full 90 mins. Can't think of any other reason you'd take him off.

    Make or Break

And that was what I was commenting on. Richardson also said 'have a punt'. You're suggesting the club deliberately spends more than it can afford, and potentially get a transfer embargo as a result, in the hope of success.

    Gillingham match thread

Why do the team never seem to have any reaction to a performance as bad as last week? When other teams have a bad day you expect them to go the extra mile next time out to prove themselves. We just don't seem bothered.

It will be thoroughly depressing if we're in the bottom half at the end of the day.
