He should be snapping their hand off for that. When you look at that compared to the L1 average and what PL U21s are getting its a great offer. Can't imagine we've offered more than 2 years so he could take that for a year, get himself into the first team and scoring and then either negotiate...

Where's Noel Whelan when you need him ;)

We used to have that. Still got mine somewhere. The problem with it was you had to remember what seat you'd booked. Of course no-one did so you had loads of people turning up with no clue where they were supposed to be sitting! You could get round that these days by having an app with a QR code...

That's the problem. People say we should use the same system as Wasps. That would mean either putting ticket prices up to cover the cost or the club making less per ticket sold. Is that the best idea when the budget is tight?

Coventry Bears playing at the Ricoh

Bit strange given that ACL have been blocking us playing extra games at the Ricoh to protect the pitch.

Average L1 wage is £1,350 a week. If he's after a couple of grand more than we've offered him no wonder TM is pissed off. Top PL U21 players get around £1,000 a week (based on reports that Man City's highest paid get that amount and I'd guess at them being at the top end).

Got closed as it wasn't financially viable didn't it? Would be good to get back on the card system. Hopefully ACL have learned from this year and won't try to charge us a ridiculously high fee for access.

    Bassala Sambou

Wonder how big the difference really is. Can't imagine we're offering more than a 2 year deal so its not like he'd be stuck here for ever. If he broke through into the first team next season and then signed an extension I can't see we're paying the first team squad far less than teams higher up...

    The Enemy Split Up

Reckon if they'd skipped the second album and straight on to Streets in the Sky they'd have had more success.

It doesn't recoup them any cash. But it means they can hold on to the club indefinitely without putting more money in hoping something happens like someone making them a silly offer.

    Wigan Match Thread

Can't see us winning this. To be honest the way things have been recently I'm not convinced we'll see another win this season.

The more things change the more they stay the same. Seems like things on the pitch have reverted to normal. The SCG needs a big shake up, don't think that's any secret. Problem is its a turkeys voting for Xmas scenario. There are some on there who like having their feet under the table and...

    WASPS Interim Accounts

This thread is bonkers. Sure things get a bit heated at times but I haven't seen anything I'd class as bullying. There's a button to report posts if anything is bothering people. Unless you're saying people are reporting posts and nothing has been done. As far as I can see the reason there's...

    the Office

Don't think they've fallen out or anything. Saw an interview with Merchant where he said he was based in LA and looking to do more plays and acting as that's what his background and training was. Said they were still friends and could possibly work together in the future. Likened it to Fry and...

    Walking Dead Season 6

The only danger to the show is if people start switching off. If the next episode has a significantly lower viewing figure than previous serious premieres then AMC might start to think about winding things down. It can't be a cheap show to make and this far in contracts must be coming up for...

Then you'd be signing them up at a time when you don't know if they will come close to making the grade. You'd potentially have a squad of 50 kids the vast majority of which aren't up to scratch. No doubt then people would be moaning we were paying for a load of unneeded players.

We haven't got enough players who will be here next year to put a team out!

    Rival season ticket deals 2016/17

Its always three bloody weeks! So they should be on sale by the end of next week. Doesn't give a very long early bird period, only about 3 weeks so I imagine that will be extended.

Not all players develop at the same rate. TM has been pretty clear, when he has moved up to U21s he's not played well enough to push for a first team place.

    Why don't people indicate anymore?

Pedestrians, who look, see you and then walk out right in front of you. Drivers who force there way through and then give you the wave like you had any other choice but let them through.
