    He's a championship player, he's a good back up

    Lati

Lampard has said previously what a good character he is, he's not going anywhere. It's hardly a big surprise that he's not played, given he's been out injured and the form of players in front of him.

    Recommend a beer

Got to 1,000 beers tried in just under 10 years (probably more but forget what I've had after a few) when having a few on the day off the Sheff Wed game.

    What moment still haunts you?

Nothing will ever eclipse Torp's goal being disallowed, you just don't get such a switch of emotions like that. At least with Dabo or any penalty shootout you believe it to be at best 50:50, with Torp as far as we were concerned he'd scored and it was given on the pitch. Fuck VAR.

    What moment still haunts you?

Living locally I had the indignity of seeing us play at Oldham, Rochdale and Bury in the same season and go into each game with no hope and losing all three. That 2016/17 season even if a league higher than where we ended up really was us hitting the bottom.

    Ex Player Watch

No obvious issue with his attitude on the pitch. It's only rumoured that his attitude in training isn't great. It might be just a pure case of Lampard just not seeing how we'd fit in with the way we play, and that is understandable.

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

Water bills of course go up for pubs as well. Honestly, I don't know if it is just deliberate ignorance or pure stupidity on the part of the government.

The reality is that many pubs close earlier than their license permits, if they even open at all some days. There is just not the customer demand to support later opening. The government has got its head in the sand completely.

It is high time for the government to tell the Treasury that is not elected and not in charge: https://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2025/oct/08/uk-treasury-tells-ministers-not-to-expect-bailouts-from-its-reserve-fund That said, would you trust the existing government to spend anything with...

I was in Manchester city centre on Tuesday, it's previously been quite obvious the Tory conference is on but yes, extremely quiet this year. The lobbyists are all with Labour now no doubt.

Do you want to discuss boring politics?

Yes, they are two different things, well done. One thing is an obvious bubble and the other is a prime minister putting tremendous faith in said obvious bubble.
