Bloke I work with is a ST holder and he has said that they have gradually stripped all of the proven quality from the squad each year, you just can't get away with it. The writing is firmly on the wall for them. It's a shame imo as if we go up it'd be good to play Wolves in the top flight.

I think even if KKH has a great game that MVE will come straight back in, he's been tremendous this season and is just too good to leave out.

It's less Doyle defensively but his ability to pass through the lines that make me glad he's missing

Not sure it was complacency really, more just facing a better side (with an especially good central midfield) and the strange circumstances being two up so early.

In fairness to them, their fans appear to be a lot more grounded than the idiots over in Small Heath

That was such a strange game, even after we'd gone 4-1 down we had enough chances in the game to win 7-4, not sure how we didn't at least pull it back to a draw

Yes. Lampard has called a couple of journalists out a bit where they've implied that somehow a win via a good goalkeeper performance isn't the sign of a successful team. Which successful teams do not have a relative top class goalkeeper in reality?

We look like we've got the ten men, real lack of leadership from Grimes today imo

Our performances will need to improve somewhat over the next few weeks, we're not going to get away with it against better teams

As an attacking force we're hugely missing Torp and Rudoni, Jamie Allen just doesn't have their quality when he gets on the ball, just wants to turn back every time

Two games, two utter gifts for the opposition. Lampard hasn't managed this second half well and if they get another all panic will set in.

So fucking sloppy, BTA and just generally we are all over the place at the back

Just realised Eccles isn't playing, no wonder I got those strange reactions. I would bring him on for EMC and switch BTA to the left.

Where on earth is our central midfield? Louza an excellent player but just has far too much time
