    On the subject again of Poland, its budget deficit is 50% of its revenue. The UK deficit on the other hand is only a mere 5% of its revenue. I'm glad you've finally agreed Mucca that deficit spending isn't a problem per se and can help to drive economic growth.

    Most probably, I did mention that in my post. Though to a certain extent the cost of living is greater in some places rather than others to sit alongside the higher pay.

    How on earth does that happen? The almost exponential growth is amazing, be interesting to see if it has grown as a proportion of the total number released or whether it just looks inflated because a lot more prisoners were released 24/25 in the early release scheme.

    In fairness to the council, energy costs are >60% higher than when it was planned, which impacts both the cost of running it and the ability of people to afford to attend. Successive UK government's failure to address this is catastrophic for the UK economy.
