All it would take is putting a roof on? And how much would that cost? And where would they get the money? Oh, stupid question. Coventry council tax payers, of course.

    If it is St Andrews

Come on. So are you happy then with £14M of YOUR money being given to a Joint Venture Company? And anyway, who says we're playing at St Andrew's next season? A bloke on a forum. Must be true.

Oh, is that the best you can do? Not my SISU at all. I support CCFC. No one else. Not SISU and not your team, ACL.

    If it is St Andrews

None thankfully. I wouldn't be happy to see huge cuts in services one minute and then £14M given to a so-called "Community Asset" the next. Maton was very vague and slippery last week when asked where the money actually came from.

God, you're good. Spot on again. How do you do it?

Funnily, enough I'm wearing an old City top now. Just looked at the badge and it says Coventry City Football Club on it. Not Arena Coventry Limited or Coventry City Council. Good enough for me.

But what about the year after? And the year after that if there is no Coventry City?

IMO, slagging off people who support their club is the disgrace. If you don't want to, great. Let other people do as they wish.

True. And when that runs out, Mutton will find some more. Just close a care centre, a few libraries and youth centres and bingo!

dont forget the Olympics. ACL think there's one every summer.

Totally agree with the second point, not so convinced about the first.

    Not under SISU

Exactly. Each to their own. I'm not going to have a go at someone who doesn't want to renew. Similarly I'm not going to be labelled as a "scab", etc etc for doing so and continuing to buying my ST.

    If it is St Andrews

Anyway, surely this is all academic? Didn't Bob Ainsworth "sort it all out" and say that all the Club was in administration? If true, it's only a matter of waiting for Hoff, JE and PH4.

    If it is St Andrews

I'm pretty darn certain that neither side do. In fact you can forget the "pretty" part. All either side is interested in is "£".

That's Ashdown's way unfortunately. Abuses anyone who doesn't see it his way.

    If it is St Andrews

True. Yet, ACL tell us they don't need the Club. I wonder if the casino, the buses, the taxis and the "local economy" feel the same?

    latest statement from Mr Appleton

Which is great if you have the income and the fanbase. Not much point renting a penthouse - because, well it's a penthouse! - if you work on the tills at Tescos. Really, West Ham won't pay much more for the Olympic Stadium.

    latest statement from Mr Appleton

Mmm...it seems to me that CCFC were an animal being poked by a stick by ACL. Now SISU are biting back. Yes, SISU should pay the rent. Yes, SISU agreed to the rent. But, ACL were laughing all the way to the bank for six years raking in £8M. That was never sustainable.

You probably don't recall the Club wanting to talk to the Council about the rent level only three months after we moved into the place in December 2005 then either?

Ah, if only some fans could see that one side isn't 100% to blame for our mess. Alas, they never will.
