    Match Thread SISU Out

No that land was supposed to be developed from day one. The closest they came was a Premier Inn but they pulled out. CCC were so confident of being able to get one built that they had a go at one of the groups interested in buying CCFC after they met with them and were told a hotel and Ricoh...

Hard to predict this one given the opposition. Good to see Stokes back in there.

That's a leap even for you! SISU weren't even here when the council and ACL were first trying, and failing, to get a hotel built.

Its pretty obvious that as the club have had a falling out with the CT they are providing info to the Observer / Reid. Guess its up to them who they give the information to and for the Observer / Reid its an easy victory over the CT.

    "The Pertinent Question"

Doris the tea lady told me :angelic: From what I've been told they were looking in the region of £30m which clearly no one they approached even considered. Suspect their expectations will now be lowered but I think its a nonsense to assume any football club is not for sale.

    "The Pertinent Question"

Which to me is why it needs to proceed with caution. If the campaign pushes SISU to walk, unlikely but you never know, then there needs to be someone ready to step in.

    "The Pertinent Question"

It may well end up being sold for £1 but the key will be what happens with the debt. Written off, pennies in the pound offer or carried over to the new owners. Ranson was pretty open about his plan when he came in and people have repeatedly asked for SISU's plan. Problem is you then get Fisher...

    Cian Harries to Liverpool?

Of course. Although there were a couple of subtle differences in that it was during pre-season and he wasn't signed to a professional contract. But yes anything that gives a player reason to think they could soon be departing to play at a higher level is going to be unsettling.

Rugby council to take over Brandon.

Wonder what the rent will be :nailbiting:

    "The Pertinent Question"

I haven't suggested they state what they want. I have suggested that for them to leave an offer they deem acceptable needs to be made. Exactly. So if you want SISU to sell what do you do? Sitting in after a game or running on the pitch will achieve nothing. You need to target SISU's business...

    Match Thread SISU Out

Well McGinnity suggested buying it back so he must have had a vague idea where it was coming from. Maybe the council could have made one of their loans they give to local businesses who are in trouble  Could have been a golden opportunity for a trust to take a stake. Sure at that...

    "The Pertinent Question"

And that's the problem in a nutshell. If the campaign is for SISU to sell up and go then there needs to be an offer made to them which they deem acceptable. I'm not talking about detail but you can surely give a vague idea of what you are after. If you're saying new owners must be acceptable to...

    Match Thread SISU Out

At the point the council took over it would have been better all round if they told the club to exercise the buy back clause for HR. Seem to recall when MM suggested we wouldn't move and would instead buy back HR the council went into a panic and a certain company got a big contract at the Ricoh...
